Highest score in recent times
by hari on Mar 02, 2009 01:04 PM

This would be highest score in recent times. Bravo WI. You did good job. This test recalls me of infamous teast in SL where india made more than 500 in first innings and then SL batted for the rest part making 953. Not even one innings completed by both teams in 5 days.
But here seems some interesting chance for WI to win.

It is becoming batsman's game
by pradeep agarwal on Mar 02, 2009 11:46 AM

The nature of wickets has been doctored in favour of batsman by ICC with the haelp of local bodies to let batsman score freely. This will kill the game. People love to se good contest & not double & triple tons from batters who were very recently against likes of Macgrath & warne were not sure of their off stump

In ka kya hoga kaaliya?

New comer North scored a century on debut in SA against SA for Australia. Mitchel Johnson, principally a bowler, scored a valuable 96 in the same match, coming low down the order.

A B De Villiers scored a fighting century against Aussies on a seamer friendly pitch in the same match, to give respect to SA total.

Strauss scored a hundred, so did Collingwood and Bopara for England.

Now Sarwan and Ramadin have scored huge amount of runs.

Soon, the world's vintage, er.. top batsmen will be playing in tests for India against New Zealand. In se kya expect kar sakthe hain, kaaliya?

True! And don't forget triple century by Younis Khan, double hundreds by Jayawardene, Samaraweera (who is on 191 now in 2nd Test), century by Kamran Akmal. Is this schools cricket?
