T20 Cricket is all about all round show. your stats wont work here.A player need to perform each and every match he play's or there should be some contribution from each and every player to win. so if you fail with the bat you should perform well with ball. thats what afridi did in this series he perform in each and evry match with bat or bowl. And about your IPL stats you mention that he did not perform well rt?. please go through each and every match D.C played you will come to know he performed excellent with Bowl. in imprortant match with Rajastan royals he picked up two wickets of Smith and Yousuf pathan and brought them back in action but last over from symonds ruined the match.my friend from past two and half year he has performed very well with his ball better then harbajan singh in both the formats you pick out both players stats you wil come two know. he might have failed with his bat but he has developed good bowling performance with variety.He takes wickets in match and if he bats thats bonus for the team.
This shmuck was bought by deccan chargers last year and I think was one of the biggest reason why the team fared so dismally.. he actually had the audacity to talk crap about his own captain VVS Laxman which shows how much of a team man he is....

If you take it that way then deccan should thank him, due to him gilly became the captain and ultimately won the tournament. He didn't even play, still he was the reason why deccan won this year!!! see the positive side my dumb fellow.

his performance is not constant - look at decan last year, he miserably failed and blamed his below performance on the efficiency of the captain, laxman. anyway, i am happy he learned to respect the bowlers. whatever his status as a player, he is arrogant and uncivilized and cannot be fit into scheme of things - I am sure, in NSW, he will be thrown away - cricket is all about gentleman's game and this fellow does not know what is gentleness.
