Did you forget Yuvraj & Dhoni???? So this is all based on recent from, not from proper judgement of class & career performance...Hats off to ICC....keep it up...And Congrats to Pakistan for winning the T20....It's a fitting tribute from Younis & team to Bob Woolmer,& I personally liked the SL-Pak final showdown,as it shows that in the Lahore attacks,Cricket is the WINNER...Kudos to Sangakarra & Younis.
Pakistan's win is no surprise as ICC somehow had to bring Pakistan back into cricket. There are hardly 8-9 nations who play serious cricket. If out of those even one of them goes missing it will be a huge loss to cricket and ICC's revenue. For how are they going to depend on India for money. Cricket outside the subcontinent is a game which has no passsion. People see it when they dont have anything else in the world to do except drinking beer in a half empty cricket ground.

Don't politicise pakistan's win. They deserved it. Since India did not play well, you cannot say that there was something happening to bring Pakistan back into criket. They played well and they won. There is nothing more than that.
Dhoni's experiments and over confidence on his decisions led the debacle. He considers himself the hitler of the team and even ignored the performance criteria and kept xperimenting. He divided the team for his own selfish interests. Had their been sachin in he team, the result had been different.

His presence in the team even as a player makes the difference.

Totally Agree Ajay. One message to all you...Whenever you see Dhoni on TV Advertizement, change the channel immediately. If all we do, TRP will drastically reduced and that is how Brade image will get affected. He will surely get lesser adv contracts and save time to concentrate on CRICKET.

This country is full of morons like u. Its bcoz of u stupid mentality of hero worshipping that this country is still an underdeveloped country. If a team wins make the captain a hero and if the team loses start burning his effigies. Stop hero worshipping.
when it was team north india, then there can be only complains that no north indian in icc20/20. blaming the whole of india for this flop show is condemned.

Yeah its better to send two teams... Team North India and Team South India. This time they have sent Team North India.
Why everybody os wasting their time discussing about a team (actually individuals playing for themselves). When they had no communication within themselves, their body language in the matches was absolutely a disaster, why to give them even so popularity by discussing about them. This forum should immediately be dropped, Rediff.
The team is selected by english people so obviously they dont want any Indians as they are jealous of India. On wat basis do you select Kallis/AB ahead of Yuvraj who has hit most sixes in tournament.

What do you mean the team is selected by english people so they dont want any Indians as they are jealous? There are no English or Australian cricketers in the team too! So how do you explain that ?

Yuvraj will walk into any T20 team but presently he is not fully fit and his fielding is found wanting. He did not bowl much. AB is 25 runs on the filed and is capable of taking some oustanding catches and effect runouts which counts in the shorter version of the game its not just batting that counts. Kallis has done well both with the bat and ball in the T20 WC and looked very fit indeed so based on current form and body condition he is possibly selected.

The Correct Headline should have been "NO INDIANS, AUSTRALIANS OR ENGLISHMEN in the ICC T20!" Indians being the financial powerhouse of Cricket ! English being the originators and the home of cricket with the Lords there!@ Australians being the world dominating team in the last decade and a half!
