pakistan, no matter what they are, play as a team with great spirit. We have to just accept this fact. Other teams has lot of things to learn from them

I agree with Vinay. Pakistan will win not only for viewership reasons, but also will be compensated by the ICC for being a terrorism hit country and the fact that the world cup has been pulled out of Pakistan.

Mankodi:
"Compensated" by ICC is a good one.... :)
ICC obviously keeps compensating always..... they did it in 2007, and they are doing it now.... right?... :)
Wonder how do they manage to convince the others?.... for example, why did India agree this year to the ICC "compensation scheme" after being the beneficiary in 2007?.... we should have disobeyed them and won us another cup this year..... would have shown those ICC "compensators" where they stand.... Of course it would have meant that we wouldn't have got the 2011 ODI world cup which the ICC has promised us by eliminating the other teams.... Maybe that's what turned the scales, eh?.... :)

I hope you know the meaning of the word compensation. It is the ICC doing it. doesnt have to work the other way around. nice logic though.

Wrong. They might win because they are capable of defeating Srilanka based on their recent performances.
deserve to be champion based the way they are playing. They are capable of defeating Srilanka.
It is wrong to say that anyone can win T20 champion. A win that play as unit with fully backed by its individual performances can only win any world cup.

I don't agree with you. In T-20 format anything can happen. Pak is the same team who lost to India in practice match and lost to Eng in league stage.

T20 is a bit less predictable than ODI bcoz the difference betwn strong n weak team become less. 1 over cn change the way of the match. ys after loosing against eng, pakis came back strongly. nw they seems more consistent. Srilanka mst bat first against pak if they win the semis.

Oh... so now you and Pandey have started agreeing with Ponting's view that T20 is not serious cricket?... ;-)

Yes I agree with you that 1 or 2 overs can change the course of the match. Then, don't you think for that to happen there must a big difference in overall quality of the teams.

SA was better team because he was undefeated. But yesterday was just a better day for Pak so SA lost.

Pandey:
So T20 is NOT an unpredictable form of cricket?.... you guys are confusing me.... sometimes you say it is and sometimes you make 100% commitments proving that it isn't.... :)
