I will agree with clint. Rajesh is a typical example of an uneducated, watching too many mother-daughter in law soaps. Follow the sport passionately. first of all cricket was not born in india. it originated in england by sir WG Grace. Lagaan was not a true story so dont go thinking that we were blessed with a cinderella man charm. its people like u who potray the under developed part of the country. If ur passionate abt a sport a loss shud get u upset not bring out the animal rage against the same players u consider to be ur idols when they bring home a cup... May be you need to look into the true picture of history as Cricket was born in India - Our forefathers the then slaves to the empire were doing all the run around - British invented the game for sport - but the british weather would not allow cricket to be played in UK. So to have my forefathers hard work go down the drain by stupid coconuts like Sunil kumar is unacceptable too - Cricket is passion - Cricket is Indian Birthright - the writing is on the wall - Can you read English? By the way I am not the type to show animal rage against my idols - FYI we worship our idols, the mythology which both Christian britishers wanted to exterminate when they Illegally occupied India (Like they illegally occupied Iraq - follow the facts please)

I totally agree with Mike Atherton.We give way too much importance to cricket and films. These are mere sources of entertainment and should be looked upon as such. I agree that if the Indian cricket team starts winning every series and tournament easily then cricket will no longer be fun. You need healthy competiton and rivalries to make any sport interesting.

Sports & film given importance everywhere in world including developed countries. Even in USA top sports persons & hollywood star are the top earners & bi celebrity. whats new in that?
Cricket is an Indian game. Almost entire revenue is generated by Indian Cricket fans. Cricket should be played by the way Indian spectators like it, even it by making rule like no team should beat India twice consecutively(for example). These guys(all cricketers Indian or non-Indian) who are paid for their earnings by the Indian cricket fan has no right in criticising them

bcos for starters they innagurate a cricket stand in the honor of a legendary player, not build temples when he plays well and burn his pictures when he doesnt perform....cricket is a sport....the greatest one in the world. treat it that way....its called a gentlemans game not only cos it was only a rich mans sport but also cos when a team lost a match, none lost their dignity. over here, indian players lose the match and the so called passionate crciket fans make them lose their dignity....
