I said yesterday SA will fail to chase 150 and they didnt. I get a feeling cricket will completely be dominated by sub continent teams in the future as pitches everywhere, even in SA where IPL was played and in England are getting slower and conducive to spin bowling. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka always have good spinners and have batsmen who can play spin as well. I feel domination of Australia and other teams will soon be a thing of the past.

kallis is another spent force. in fact most of seniors should be dropped from ODIs and T20s.

Yes you are right Harish when i think of SA there seems to be no leaders in their team and only spent forces.

Junk comment Venu... Think u didnt abt Smith at all. He started leading the team at the age of 22 and made SA as a consistent team to win against any opponent. Dnt consider only world cup, see their performances and their success rate. They are most vulnerable team in the world..... Smith is the greatest leader.........

Thanks prashant for the joke u said i laughed a lot and shared it many of my friends. I have observed Smith before he became the captian. He is very egoistic and not only that he craves for centrestage and starts blabering before the media before any test series and the result is just opposite he loses. Therefore I give him the title Choker of chokers. On one point i agree with u and that is he is the LEADER, albiet of the chokers. He can only win when there is only one team in a tournament. But the moment there is two or more his team has never won anything. And you have aptly said he is greatest choker leader.
for big tournamnets like world cup and champions trophy. SA is the only one. it can be now safely said that ,any team except SA can win . sad but harsh reality.

They had their best chance in 1999 WC. I think Gibbs took the right catch and bowl slips on his hand when he was throwing it on air for celebration.

it was the strongest ever team of pak with akram,inzy,anwar,moin etc. it lost due to folly of saeed anwar. who was going great guns, and decided to change refix grip of his bat. from there on aussie regrouped.

They lost to Bangladesh, SA, Aus and India in that WC. So I don't agree with you.

I am saying that whenever is a tournament where there is more than two major teams like India, Pak, West Indies, Aus, NZ then they have never won. Yes under the leadership of Hansie Cronje they have many times won traingular series. You can take the stastics and then say it.
When the sewarage gets blocked,the municipal staff do 'bamboo probing' to clear the stagnation.it is often done on the assumption that bamboo must have accomplished the task.Similarly both S.africa and India would experience the like of bamboo probing with self acclaimed experts suggesting what should have been done-why this and why not that and why that and why not this.Ultimate result would be like that a dog trying to catch its own tail without succeeding.So,don't waste choke more with the views, let them play to win dollars.To hell with the public.-Sudhakar Jha.

no.. once it won 1983 wc and 2007 t20 wc. so those who win atleast once are exempted. we can add NZ may be to the list they too choke in semis of WC. but they won champions trophy in 2000 against india.
Hello friends. South Africa have lost again some how I feel SA lack the nerve and big heart needed for big matches. If you notice they won all the matches in the tournament pretty eaisly but when it boild down to the Semis its sad to say but they are jinxed.
We can't judge strength of any team on basis of T-20. Collective effort of average players as well as individual performance both matters in T-20. Like On Gayle's day no team can beat WI. DC was on last spot in IPL 1 and now winner of IPL 2. T-20 is very unpredictable format. So don't take SA's T-20 loss as choke.

it was indeed choke. 150 is not a very big score. infact pak aoch had been saying the day before that given history SA shall choke, this may be pychological trick but the fact is proved after the match.
