Dhoni is just a below average player
by mujahidali khan on Jun 20, 2009 01:09 PM

infact he is just banking on others performance not even playing and keeping behind stumps he is just depending on others why is he pointing on others has he played and took ownership any time only a blame game he knows batting was not up to the mark bowling was weak fielding let us down who is he kapil gavaskar or tiger patudi ? one t20 cup behaving as he is the godfather of cricket infact we dont need a person who is rude to public media is the face of public and their are better team members who can get laurels.

Dhoni has to realize your expression ,instead he is fighting with all the senior players and trying to force his supremacy.

Loss for India in 2009 T20 world cup
by sureshbhat Bevinkatti on Jun 20, 2009 12:59 PM  | Hide replies

My only concern is why was bench strength not utilised by the captatin even after continuous failures from the playing 11. For example no captain in the world would have made inform RP Singh and Praveen Kumar sit in the bench and give inform batsman Yuvraj singh the least balls to play by sending him down the order. From the above it is very clear that matchfixing is still alive and there should be a probe on M S Dhoni's each and every transaction and move before, during and after T20 World cup.

Why rediff put pepper on our wounds and now what you want to prove. In fact he is not having cricket sense (Dhoni), no doubt this is our media who makes him Zero to Hero. He is playing for himself not for country. This is far away for him to know the country’s dignity. John Ibrahim is now backing him, just tell him, mind you work. This is not film industry. Where you are playing characterless rolls, meaningless films; We can tolerate every thing but when national dignity comes. We will not allow. Really this is Mod who has introduced IPL and has vanished our talent through money and every cricketer is looking for money and they have earned much more money.

INDIA WAS TOO DEFENSIVE IN DEFENDING THE T20 CUP
by vishes agarwal on Jun 20, 2009 12:19 PM  | Hide replies

The factors which let dhoni' down are:-
1. The policy of being defensive, last world cup india used to start their bowling with main bowlers and also completed there spells there by.
2. The Sehwag factor, if bcci was aware of sehwag's fitness then he musn't be selected.
3. The batting line up. Dhoni saved his key players and used a very crap batting order.
4. The lack of confidence. Last world cup we had theme of Chak de india..this time we saw india shining.
5. Dhoni overated himself and is always defensive in his batting approach, so what other players will learn from captian.
6. Atlast, IPL tired stuff let india down.
