everybody who was watching the game and thinking on only one strategy... to win you have to hit.. even bowlers done well in all three matches and clinched in reachable score.. now see on other facet .. batting.. Indian batting line up has been rated number 1 in world... if somebody says players were trying then shame... these 11 palyers have been filtered among us and appointed for Game..nobody says Indian team dhoni and all lost the match... one word comes from everywhere india lost the match.. india defeated.. donot play if you cann't play.. one who says shewag was not there or tendulakar was not there...don't expect anybody shoulder if you have one.. if you cann't do it.. leave it.. defat is a part of game but don't create a black sport by playing like shit. everybody is doing own job at his place and you guys to do so.. don't forget you have been selected best 11 for indian cricket.. don't try... just play and win.. simply.. you indian players.. created a bad impression before evryone.. like you can't play short ball.. you can't play bouncers...you can't chase.. and least but not last.. don't smile after defeat Dhoni... I know you got your fee in your bank ac.. but don't forget people like your play not you... don't smile like shameless... old man

If one is not disturbed by any BOO's then he surely will not get effected by it but then the same reveals his or her nature. But Dhoni we knew was of a sound character.

We are not going to win WC after WC. Nor can dhoni or anybody perform well all the time. Look at the amount of cricket we are playing. Its impossible for anyone to be in top form game after game. There will be memorable wins and some losses in future too. Try to understand.

T20 WC - India's Performance
by VICKY GUPTA on Jun 17, 2009 04:59 PM  | Hide replies

I think we should stand by our team rather than abusing them and giving wrong comments about the TEAM... How can we have such a short memory..?? This is the captain and the team which has given us so many moments to feel proud and moments to cherish. This is the team which has acheived so many new feats which no other Indian Cricket Team did in past...

I feel that they did not do well due to mental fatigue of IPL... This is truth... after a BIG event like IPL which went on for atleast 45 days...one need atleast 15-20 days to relax his mind... after all players are also human being...

I think we should take it as one bad tournament and hope that these guys do well in future...

Cheers to Dhoni and Team India...

Do GREAT IN FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!

Was the Indian team the only team which contributed players to IPL?Look at all the other teams performing! And Pakistan who did not play IPL,played some bad matches in start but then came back into form.Look at teams like South Africa,West Indies,Sri Lanka...They had players in IPL and other international matches at their home ground during IPL.Following that-they came to WC and are shining there. And look at Australia-most players did not play for IPL and they exited WC in first round. So,dont blame the loss on fatigue. It depends on temperament, intensity, focus and spirit. Most of the team lacked it and Dhoni as captain cud not infuse it into the team.He was the worst failure of WC-in all aspects! And if u r saying its not right to blame them coz of their past glory, let me tell you this.If India had gone down fighting in any of the matches,it would have be sufferable coz they tried. But they shamelessy capitulated in all matches. Its coz of the lack of atleast a fighting spirit that I say Dhoni and the team deserves blame-Dhoni gets more blame coz it's his job as captain to raise the morale of team. But yeah-he was busy trying to get his form back! You get your form from net practice not experimenting in WC matches!!!

A reminder that, in the last two years alone, Dhoni has led a rookie squad to victory the Twenty20 World Cup, becoming the first Indian since Kapil Dev to lift a major trophy, and the only current captain bar Ricky Ponting to win an ICC event. He’s unbeaten in seven Tests as captain, including series victories over Australia and England. He’s been the most successful captain in the IPL, leading Chennai to the final in 2008 and the semis in 2009. He’s also the world’s top-ranked ODI batsman, averaging close to 50 with a strike rate of 90.

And, for good measure, he has done all that under the physical and mental strain of keeping wicket. Nevertheless, Dhoni will return home to India today as a scapegoat at best, a villain at worst. His effigy will be burned in the streets, and his conduct dissected by pundits, presenters and bloggers. Past successes, however recent, remarkable, will not spare him.

His only armour is to win every game against every opponent and every trophy in every format. Fancy job a like that? “They should have won this tournament for sure,” said former India Test bowler Javagal Srinath. “I really believe the build-up and the way they played their warm-up games and the first two matches of the tournament was perfect.” Srinath didn’t explain what was so “perfect” about the warm-up defeat against New Zealand, dodgy batting performance against Bangladesh, or the injury to key batsman Virender Sehwag. But his comments seem to be fairly typical of the lazy assumption India would win this tournament simply by showing up.

The reason so many one-eyed Indian observers expected victory – assumed “they should have won this tournament for sure” - was because Dhoni’s stunning achievements have raised expectation levels to a stratospheric height. He is a victim of his own success, doomed to be judged by standards he has set during his short but incredible career.
Look at Graeme Smith, the only cricketer with a comparable recent CV. Smith was a clown of a captain in his early days; all brawn and no brain, clueless in the field and embarrassing in front of the microphone. He made significantly more mistakes than Dhoni, under significantly less pressure. But by allowing him to make those mistakes, by sticking by him, South African cricket has got a hell of a leader. In Dhoni, India have an even more impressive figure at its helm. By slaughtering him for every mistake, he will become less of a leader, and India less of a team

Match Fixing
by baba on Jun 17, 2009 03:16 PM  | Hide replies

The way India lost - it is 100 percent match fixing. T 20 is like WWF wrestling or Miss Univerese contest - fixed.

With Sharad Pawar and Lalit Modi - PHD in corruption - what else can you expect, they will even seel the entire country for MONEY.
GOD SAVE INDIA - Vande Mataram

This is Called "Double-Ended Fix".
These are all Fixed matches. Don't get into technicals and analysis. The bookies gave huge money to fix it from both ends. SA got huge money to underplay and score 130. Heavy betting happened on India there after as predicted, but people didn't know that Indian Players were fixed too. I can surely say "Mr.Dhoni and Yousuf were fixed for the entire tournament". Dhoni choose Ishant instead of RP in WI game so that they give more runs. He choose Jadeja ahead as it was already planned to score slow.

Guys, Dhoni & Yusuf are for sure 100% fixed, both in IPL and T20. These people got addicted to easy money.

Dhoni knew ojha can turn matches, so he didn't want to play him. Also, they want people to still keep betting on india even when wickets falls, so for this he choose to have big time hitters like "Yusuf, Yuvraj and Himself" down the order. This is only to fool people.

Don't be surprised, this match scandals won't come out. Most politicians, big time bookies, underworld dons, BCCI board and many more are all integral part of this Fix.

It looks like Pakistan will take this worldcup if bookies fix the rest three matches with other teams...I'm 99% sure.

Mr Scientist dhoni

I have been to all the games that India has played. This guy is experimenting too much. I think this is because of the over confidence he got. Why the hell do you experiment in World cup? Take 2007 T20 world cup or 2003 50 over world cup nothing changed from start to finish that's the reason we were that successful. If you are sitting in the ground you can see the dissent from other bowlers while he is giving to part timers when you have full time experienced bowlers standing there and not doing any mistake. Look at the frustration of yuvi in the game against England (scored a six in the first ball he faced). Dhoni could not even touch the ball against West Indies. And regarding the booing dot you think you deserve it after all you you have done. We agree that you have been successful for two years but if you are humiliated in this way what do you expect?

DHONI FALLS

I have been a big fan of Dhoni and defended him for long , specially during last year when Supporters of Senior players were after him.

But I have been badly disappointed with his total approach during WC T20.

First: HE has tiff with Sehwag, his Vice-captain. This is not a god sign for a captain who should carry entire team with him. Mind it , there were rumours of strained relationship of Dhoni with Sehwag earlier also.

Second : He became rude and argumentative with all Media persons - in order to hide his shortcoming.

Third : He started loosing his temper frequently-Where is 'Captain Cool'?

Fourth : He promoted himself to No. 3 position in warm-up matches and 2 matches against BD and Ireland. This was a big mistake, as he denied Suresh Raina MAtch practice before the big important games. This was a big blunder as Raina was supposed to be most consistent along with Gambhir

Fifth : When big matches came against WI and England, he suddenly dropped himself to no 5/6 and promoted Raina (as mentioned earlier)

Sixth : He excluded R P Singh against WI, though he was most economical bowler in IPL. Even in 2nd group match, he bowled RP for 3 hours only, and gave IShant full 4 overs even though he was expensive.
Seventh : Without first trying regular spinner Harbhajan and Yusuf/Jadeja, he tried part-time bowlers, who failed.

etc.
etc.
AND THERE WAS OVERALL LACKING OF SPIRIT,
