The choice of team managers accompanying Indian Cricket teams either overseas or at home should be ex-cricket players or those who are convalescing from injuries or sickness. They can manage team better, than those who go for joy rides. The recent case of T20 Manager looking for sexual favors from women cricket players is an example. Although this proposition should not be a rule, but be an exception since the Indian team is low in esteem at present. Sachin can boost the team's morale. I may be alone in this regard, but I think he would do good to the team.
It was a great step by Sachin to keep out of WI tour which helped a young player to get in to the team.Sachin should play only in Tests where experience and talent are essential. India should preserve Dravid, Sachin, Laxman, Badrinath, C Pujara and Ishant Sharma only for TESTS.

u r saying to preserve badri, pujara for tests only. but tell me, when these 2 hv been given chance even in tests also. first gv them chance in tests then talk of preserving them. yes ishant shud b preserved for tests as he is a waste for t20.

I think Virat Kohli should have been in the team in place of badrinath. Kohli is a naturally gifted player and has the potential to be a big player. Badrinath is a useless player and is in the team cuz of b a s t a r d srikanth.

Do not criticise on regional terms. Talk about the talent. There are hundred Sreeshanths in your place also who promise but fizzle out!
He was missed out in T20 ,anycase, good that he is selected for ODI. I think Virat Kohli should have been in the team. Lets hope he plays for India soon.
