Is it a case of better late than never or already too late .....
It was really unfortunate for KKR to miss the leadership of Ganguly... if Ganguly was the captain, probably KKR would have wone at least a few matches... there were very close defeats which could have been wins.....
Anyways... will lesson be learnt and Ganguly brought back to helm or ......???
Buchanan has not only let himself down, he is going to really disappoint his entire contingent of sons, friends and relatives - all of whom had cushy employment with KKR in the roles of Assistant coach, Manager, Asst Manager, Physiotherapist, Psychiatrist, Fielding coach, Bowling coach, batting coach, Personal security guard, Drinks boy so on and so forth.
SRK will have to now find an entire army of replacements not just hunt for head coach.
Finally, Dad is vindicated. This is not just the 1st time - Greg Chappel episode is a recent precedent. The Chappel and Buchanan episode r so very similar. Both had a common victim, and the end-result was the same. Only sad part on both the episodes is that some1 as gr8 as Dada were bullied by outsider Aussies, and his International cricketing career was cut-short. With the racial attitude of that entire country of Australia towards India so very epidemic in the recent times, its only getting clearer that both Greg Chappel's and Buchanan's ideas had more to do with racial bias than any Cricketing reasons/ ideas. Both cud not take Dada's popularity, fame and greatness in the right spirit. As if that was not e-nuf, KKR's list of probable Coaches includes Michael Bevan - another Aussie. When will us Indians stop considering ourselves inferior and get subdued by the white skin??? And its only unfortunate that a section of our very own Indian Cricket fan community did not support Dada (that that was handful compared to the stupendous support Dada has).
ATLEAST THE FIRST RIGHT THING THAT SHAHRUKH KHAN HAS DONE. THERE R N NO OF GOOD COACHES IN INDIA. LALCHAND RAJPUT LED INDIA TO T20 WC VICTORY IN 2007. THERE IS IMMENSE TALENT IN INDIA.JUST B'COZ SOMEBODY IS A AUSSIE DOESNT MEAN HE IS THE BEST AND WILL DELIVER.INDIAN'S R GR8 PEOPLE BELIEVE IN THEM.

What wisdom? If he has any sense of wisdom, he shud have removed himself 1st. Did he not argue with a Cricketing legend in Mr. Gavaskar? By sacking Buchanan alone and not removing himself shows how mean and selfish that fellow is. Go to the KKR website and U wud C only his pics, as if its a film promo. SRK cannot hide from his responsibility of a poor show of KKR in IP2. So, removing Buchanan is only half job done. U do not treat legend like Ganguly so shabbily. SRK deserves an equal punishment not just for being incorrect in Cricketing decisions (read Ganguly Captaincy episode), which even Buchanan was, he was also very arrogant and stubborn. Its SRK who has reduced KKR to a filmy joke.
