In 1992 WorldCup Semi final Where South Africa against England, was in comfortable position to win before rain. After rain with D/L method they were asked to score 25 run in One ball.!!!!!!!!!!!!! What to say ..

Buddy! pls know the facts first and then post msg. Its only after this match in the 1992 World Cup, the D/L method was devised.

ya D/L method was 1st applied in 1996 worldcup and by the way sa needs 22 of just 1 ball
Now Englishmen realize how ineffective D/L is. Even in 50 over games, it is not the best system as modeling wicket as a resource is not that straightforward. Secondly it does not take into account other internals like no of oers with field restrictions etc. A better system is required.
At least in T20, they should get rid of such systems. Overs should not be reduced once the game starts. Reduction should be allowed only for delayed starts.
