I am pretty sure azharuddin and ajay jadeja would be having a de ja vu right now..the right thing would be to seriously look into the causes behind the last two indian defeats.
# A captain making ingenious decisions during IPL cant go completly witless over a few weeks.
# Even a kid leading his team on a backyard ground knows that in a do and die match you dont experiment and not waste 30 balls when thats 25% of all the balls you get to face.
# No one sits out your best performers on a whim or that you did not like them.

Mr. Dhoni if you are guilty of anything more than bad decisions (for right now it very well seems so for no one tries so hard to lose a game)then I hope you crash and burn and are banished from any association with this game.

Good News

T-20 format particularly IPL has been so over-hyphed that the whole nation stopped working during these tournaments. It is good that the brakes have been applied at least for sometime. The monotony was killing.

Indian team & Dhoni were to much hyped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indian team & Dhoni were to much hyped !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many of the recent victories of Indian team

can be attributed to other memebers including

seniors...

hence Dhonis failure are loud & clear .

As a batsman he has failed and as Captain he

has failed to inspire....his failures are

doublefold as compared to Sourav who was

humiliated for dip in his batting when his

Captaincy was far more motivating for team...

Sourav was not only great Captain who taught

Indian team fighting spirit and instilled

winning habits but he nurtured great match

winners like Sehwag,Yuvi,Irfan( not

necessarily century makers..

Dhoni should have respected seniors & only

youngistan without experience is stupid idea

why Dhoni is slectively spared by media &

indian public for allowing Indian team to go

down so badly in T-20 and making 100 of mistakes ...

shameful BCCI &biased media and Indian public

who humiliated hounded Sourav almost like

as if he has committed crime like Afzal

Guru...

Indian media is never obejective and always

saying things for which they have to eat

their words...Sourav also made them( media & dirty BCCI) eat their words ..

Sadly, Dhoni's Visa Power did not work. However, he never misses a single ball in TV commercials and cleanly hits them out of the ground. He is talented, so what if we only get to watch it in TV commercials. Even that is important you know. Atleast more important than showing up in Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna from the President of India. Tell me how many cricketers are so committed to their strokeplay, as to choose 'Fake Sixes' for Pepsi and Visa power TV ads, over receiving a National award from the President. Therefore we must not criticize Dhoni over a lack of commitment.

Next, Dhoni's commitment to build and groom a great Team North India shows long term vision. It reflects the great North Indian patriotism that was evident in several online discussion forums as recently as 4 days ago, when pehelwan northies were commenting that since uttar bhartiya ppl were full of 'physical power' they only should be in team India and they will return with the World cup. Every since I read those comments about imaginary north Indian stamina, I have been sleeping peacefully having patriotic wet dreams about a glorious Team North India returning with the world cup!

Unfortunately, my wet dreams got interrupted today, when I accidentally switched on the TV while eating full plate of idli and vada sambar. I was so shocked at Team North India's performance that the steaming sambar spilled out, and the idlis and vada went flying from my mouth.

why india lost???
by m prasad on Jun 15, 2009 08:35 PM  | Hide replies

1)Not so good captaincy bt dhoni by giving bowling to ishanth sharma during death over and sending jadeja instead of yuvi or yousuf.
2)Bad fielding by "so called" good fielder(Yuvraj in last over of bajji).
3)bajji for his contribution of runs through wides(10 runs through 2 wides) to the opponent which eventually made the difference.

bajji for his

it was a easy match for india last nite but the person to be blaimed is dhoni because he proved last nite that he does not know heads or tails of batting. after this he should be thrown out of the team because d other players perform and the credit is taken by him. the media has highlighted him to much where as he is good for nothing and the ICC should have taken Dravid and Sachin in d squad so that there would be some experienced teammates who would have built good strategies to win the game last nite.. a big BOO 2 dhoni...

So many mistakes cost INDIA to loose T20 Crucial Match
by km vb on Jun 15, 2009 06:59 PM  | Hide replies

1) Playing Ishant Sharma instead of Praveen
Kumar or Irfan Pathan.
2) Not allowing Zaheer and R.P Singh to bowl
full 4 overs and instead Ishant given
full overs to bowl.
3) Yuvi should have been promoted up the
order instead of Ravindra
inexperienced or a message should have been
sent not waste balls or no discussion
between Gautam Gambir & Jadeja how to
tacle or score runs.
4) Dhoni should have taken responsiblity to
open the innings and pushing Rohit to his
earlier position or Yusuf should have been
made to open the Innings.
5) Very rediculous and casual feilding by
Indian players( not serious at all)
6) Dhoni should have played by loosing up his
stance to score at a higher rate than he
played (as like hit or get out)
7) Defensive captaincy rather than tactful
captaincy or aggresive captaincy.
