wtf?
by quick silver on Jun 17, 2009 12:16 AM  | Hide replies

"Even in Twenty20 format when I made my debut I was not the batsman who would go in and start hitting from the first ball; I used to take five or ten deliveries. That is not really in possible in the Twenty20 format, but, definitely, it is an area where I can work for a short while and can be back,"

-- so explain to us why you went down the order? common sense tells me that if you take time to settle down, come up in the order and not as a tail ender!

Indian batting has obvious weakness

That England exploited. If the BCCI officals are smart they will make bouncy pitches in India so that these guys can improve on their short ball problem.

wrong approach
by Anil Khare on Jun 16, 2009 09:51 PM

Dhoni can waste his time and hard work as long as he does not give up all wrong things he has learned. You grow on your original talent, do not try to change it, rather try to grow on it. If hitting boundaries was your original talent, so it be now - that is your best secret. Coach who guides you to modify your original talent is a bogus guide, just ignore his advise.

DHONI UNABLE TO FIND GAPS
by damodaran mohan on Jun 16, 2009 05:18 PM

Not only that he is reduced to pushing and prodding but instinctively he hits 9 out of 10 shots straight to fielders. Most of the time the fielders don't have to move even an inch sideways to field the ball. These powerful shots go straight to the fielders like a guided missile resultintg in wasted dot balls or one run balls in place of four.He should practice to pierce fielders and find gaps.

it is not dhobi's fault....
by arvin g on Jun 16, 2009 05:14 PM

it is not dhobi's fault that india lost... fault lies with other teams which did not wanted india to win... they did not bowl loose balls so that greatest batsmen ever like yuvi and raina and sharma and dhobi could hit sixes... they bowled short pitch deliveries which was cruel and inhuman for our greatest but bechare batsmen... and opposition batsman supposed to encourage indian bowlers likes of ishant and zaheer and yuvi by getting out to them so that they can build confidence to become greatest allrounders...
AND IT IS FAULT OF INDIANS TO EXPECT TEAM TO WIN THE CUP OR ATLEAST REACH SEMI-FINAL/FINAL... DHOBI AND HIS BOYS ARE POOR INNOCENT VICTIMS...

SIX KO MARO CHAUKA YAAR
by rameshka on Jun 16, 2009 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

MR DHONI HITTING SIXES ONLY WONT WIN MATCHES. YESDAY CHANDERPAUL HIT 17 RUNS OF 9 BALLS WID ONLY 1 FOUR TO WIN BY D&L. OTHER DAY YUNUS KHAN MADE 40 WID 4 FOURS AT 120 STRIKE RATE.

IT IS OUR LAZINESS TO TAKE QUICK SINGLES AND WAITING FOR THE BIG HEAVE WHICH IS COSTING US THE GAME. COMPARE THE SINGLES PERCENTAGE OF ALL COUNTRIES AND INDIA WILL SURELY LAST

SO DHONI DOODH PIYO AUR BHAGO

dhoni thougt 1 run/2 balls can win the match.so he stand on long time in ground.after opposite batting oly he know 4,6 needed for indian team.

Dhoni Is Best
by idnan taj on Jun 16, 2009 04:53 PM

Dhoni ur the best captain india ever had and we r wid u in this time of trouble.
We have full confidence that u will bounce back wid flying colors.
Dont worry winning and losing is part and parcel and in last few years u have raised a hope that ur r invincible that is why we r unable to digest and defeat.
But our best wishes r wid u and u will prove us right.

The Pressure of being best
by vishal bagh on Jun 16, 2009 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

So far ti has been the case that nobody expected DHino and company to win , Be it series in south Africa or the T-20 WC in 2007. WE went there as under dogs and won .. so everybody went ga ga over the success that we saw. In the mean time nobody see,ed to look at the 'HOW' of it. IT was like the plan is "There is no Plan" and when we won by something out of the box like Jogender Sharma bowling last over in 2007 world cup, Bhajji getting 3 consecutive test fifties against Australia or Bhajji and Zaheer hitting fifties against australia and so on it seemed as if that was a plan ... But deep in our hearts knew that we just got lucky too many time . This time we were expected to win awe were the favourites and we chocked . Normally we see Gambhir dancing down the pitch every third ball and this is not happening any more the reason is people have started to think that even he can win matches and same goes for a lot of others so called Young match winners be it Raina or Dhoni himself . This loss may explain what happened to Ganguly in 2003, dravid in 2007 and why Sachin is godly ..

Two Wrong Cannot Make The Thing Right.
Ganguly’s Case In 2003 Was More Grace Full Than Dravid’s One.
Atleast In 2003 We Reached Final.
But In 2007 We Lost To Bangladesh.
Sachin Is Iconic; He Has Contributed More Than Any Cricketer In India.
You Will Agree To Me Without Doubt That We Should Not Give Rationale To Failure.
It A Saying
"When A Great Team Loses Through Complacency, It Will Constantly Search For New And More Intricate And Complicated Explanations To Explain Away Defeat."

Coaching Factor ????
by Rahul Shinde on Jun 16, 2009 12:46 PM  | Hide replies

Hey Guys.. lets talk about coaching factor..!!!

1. Last One-day WC, team went with Greg Chapell and lost.
2. previous T20 WC, team went with Indian coaches no one recommended coach.. and India did much well than expected !!
3. This T20 WC, Gary Kirsten !! new coach..!!

I think outside coaches are not lucky for Indian team during WC !! what u think guys ?

true we dont want coaches . we dont want other teams also .
we can ask icc to give india all the tropheis in cricket beacuse of mass following here.

to get sony, star some money there can be matches daily with india vs under 19 teams from all contries including non cricket playing countries like usa, russia etc.

in these matches there willbe breake in between each balls

how
