Replace Ishant with RP, Bhajji/Ojha with Jadeja, Dhoni wit Dinesh
I urge Indian selectors to sack non-perfomin captain Mr.Dhoni from team as quickly as possible. Off late, how many sixes Dhoni is hitting ? and how many boundaries scored? He is just pushing the ball around like a boxer and getting singles and doubles. Dravid would do much better job than just that. I rate Dinesh karthik much higher than Dhoni because Karthik bats like Dravid and can hit the ball over the rope at ease. He is better in keeping - can take catch in single hand diving away from him. Only thing is Karthik doesnt have the looks and height as that of Dhoni. As of now, Dhoni is non-performing captain - show man of Indian team, acts like a military general. He doesnt believe in match practice before the game - that means everything is top class and all are geniuses in the team. I guess he started thinking that he can bat better than Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly. Thats why he comes to bat at number 3 and wastes balls like Dravid (Dravids 20-20 scores are really better than Dhoni.) !! This is not the beginning. This is not even the end. I guess this is the beginning of the end !! I dont understand why R.P. is not playing in the team instead of Ishant. Dhoni also tried to degrade Sehwag who is actually his mentor. I just want Dhoni to marry his gal and retire from cricket. He is lucky to have talented players around him and he lives on them.
i feel its nothing just that media was bashed by MSD and yuvi and sehwag and they are pissed, and do not want to leave any chance to bash team india. Its ok man, losing and winning are part of the game stop crying over it! Media is just too hypocrite on there own faults get a life ppl.
I often wonder whether the journalist writing on the sport has ever participated / played it. It is evident that the person who wrote this article is ignorant about the nature of the game. His concept harder/ gruelling the practice against short balls = greater results which in my opinion is dumb. If someone can get better just by playing more in the nets then why is there something called match practice?
Secondly it is precisely because most members had a gruelling IPL season that they are reducing practice workload - because too much workload tends to make people jaded and energy sapped. At this level most people have the talent / technique to play well. It is the question of confidence and comfort level at the grease.
As always media lives by the rule whether going gets good /bad the "News" surrounding the situ always wins. It does not matter who plays well or bad. In the end what matters is which player is easiest target for writing an article? India is much better off without such petty narrow minded journalism!!
These guys are playing so much cricket, intensity and charm to play games with same rigour will definitely go down............we are all heading too fast too furious to exploit the commercial asp[ect of the Gentleman's Game........remember the old saying Mr Modi....Dont' be greedy and kill your hen which is giving golden eggs
