Yes Shastri is right....he has a good cricket brain and thinks in a correct direction and he konws the indian team in and out...so he must be correct....
Luckly India won that day aganist Bangladesh because Yuvi played unbelivable knock. We can't expect that kind of innings from a batsman for all the matches. It is better Dhoni can come after Raina and Yuvi. Both yuvi & Raina are much talented batsman than Dhoni. If Dhoni wants to continue the same batting position he has to change his batting style and as himself saying that he could not able to hit the ball on that day.Similar type of incident happened in IPL also.
nederlands beat englad westindies beat australia ireland beat bangladesh
so in 20-20 the game can change in 2 to 3 overs itself.....so u cannot consider any team sure to win a particular match....
in the last match, when brett lee was bowling, he bowls 4 dot balls, then came a wide one, then a couple, all the SL players in dugout were nervous, jehan mubarak was on strike and he hits the last ball for a six....just imagine how can a game changes....
and when they needed 14 or 15 runs in 2 overs, the same fellow jehan got 14 runs of brett lee again.....
so be careful team india and do not get carried away....

aus were not in form , things not going right for them from last 1 year or so i thought they will kicked out in super eight stage , but it happend bit early, still undestandable .
SA on other hand is a fresh , in form and confident side, they will do it WITH OUT LOSING A SINGLE GAME , mind u
just see todays match SA v newzeland , u will get the answer y iam saying so
Sehwag getting into the team entirely depends on his form. He hasnt played any practice matches nor is he attending any of the daily practice sessions. How can anyone get confidence just basis his past reputation?
Irfan is selected basis his allround abilities especially with the bat. He has the capability to either hit out or build an innings of 25-30 runs depending on the situation.
Our bowling at the death has been very shoddy through all the games bowled so far. We have been consistently giving away 50 runs in the last 5 overs. We have to get the act together here.
RP can still come in the place of Zaheer if the latter is not fully fit. He deserves a game.

Sehwag is not coming to daily practice sessions bcos Dhoni will anyways not take him into the playing XI. Dhoni is biased against Sehwag.
If Dhoni realizes his mistake and gives a game to Sehwag, he will play a big innings of 100 runs in 50 balls and India will win.
It is McGrath's curse on Sehwag for not giving him a game for DDD
But as a staunch fan of Team India, I want MSD to ensure the following in all the matches from tomorrow (against Ireland):
If Sehwag is fit, he MUST open the innings with Gambhir. He scores faster and his understanding with Gambhir is much better.
Dhoni is not in any kind of form and should come in to bat only at No.6 or 7. Raina MUST come in at No.3, followed by Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh or Yuvraj Singh and then Sharma as per the dictates of the match situations.
Irfan Pathan's bowling is currently very ordinary and he should make way for R P Singh. It is not just that RP did well in IPL-2009, but also one should remember his good showing on India's last tour to England in 2007.
If Zaheer is not fully fit, he should make way for Praveen Kumar.
The top order batsmen must play lofted shots in the first 6 overs (power play overs) and see that the scoring rate is about 10 to 13 per over. In later overs, the batsmen MUST invariably look for singles and twos, if it is not possible to play big shots (because of good bowling, bat pitch condition or weather condition, field placement etc.) and not allow many dot balls.
We have seen that quite often, even when 2-4 wickets are already down and it is not possible to score boundaries and sixers, the batsmen still think only of big hits and thereby allow dot balls or gift away wickets.
Cricket is a game and there is bound to be winner and loser. Let us keep an open mind about India's chances.

small change.. let rohit play 1 down so that he can bat long and he willl be more effective!
when india were novices in 20-20 they won the 2007 t20 w.c, now after playing 100's of 20-20 matches our performance has only improved. i am very sure it will be india vs south africa on june 21.ravi shastri is known to be a chamcha of sachin, most probably dhoni & his team mates did not give shastri importance thus his outbursts. everyone knows shastri batting strike rate in the odi's it was around 62-63 i.e 62 runs from 100 balls faced.that was the reason he was kicked out of the indian team in the 1992 world cup. shastri has no grasp of 20-20 game.

India has an average 400 million cricket viewers, out of which we've 400 million UMPIRES 400 million experts with opinions !! Dumbo, in a nut shell, "Twenty20" is nothing of cricketing skills. Go out and swing the bat if everything connects on one day you're "Man of the Match" and if batsmen keep missing or miscuing hits and get out then you're the best bowler again "Man of the March". So stop putting your foot into your mouth and just keep watching dame luck favouring either aandoo or pandoo, both luaghing all the way to the bank while you keep writing bull-shit wasting everybody's time.
