How can u compare Jadeja to Harbhajan. Harbhajan is a class spinner where as Jadeja is a part-time bowler and a part-time batsman. No comparison at all.

Mr.Shashwat, Praveen Kumar, Harbhajan or Ravindra Jadeja can be rotated depending on the playing conditions.

JADEJA ? HAHHAHAA what a joke ? that kid shows selfish play so early in his career that it would be foolish to include him in any international lineup

How come IPL purple cap holder RP singh..is not given a chance..someone has to sit Zaheer or Irfan..RP is a proven wicket taker..and faster than both of them.
Ishanth should be dropped, he thinks he's glen Mcgrath, but he is totally use less, a batsmen who do not yet know to hold the bat, as a fielder a sloppy one, and his most important weapon bowling, he's been totally use less, from IPL to now, in India it was just a FLUKE that he shined, unless there is pressure to play him from someone elese, there are more very talented players in the lot, they should let in PRAVEEN KUMAR, who bowls and bats exceptionally well, Ishanth is good for cheering rather then playing hope the Mgt. realizes well in advance, see his strike rate against a low placed Bangladesh yesterday
Re: ISHANTH SHARMA A TOTALLY OVER RATED PLAYER

Ishanth is a good bowler in my opinion. He along with Zaheer Khan and Asish Nehra can prove to be a lethal weapon for India.

Dhoni is the best captain of India till date. He is proving even better than Saurav Ganguly. You may love him , you may hate, but u cannot ignore this fact that he is the best captain till date. He is proving to be Alexander- the great of cricket.
Re: Re: Dhoni
by Sameer on Jun 08, 2009 01:05 PM
Dhoni 8is basically reaping the hardwork done by Ganguly, thats all. While there is no question that he is a damn good captain, do remember that the team players are also pretty good.

You L*A*Z*Y G#A#A#N#D#U,Dhoni is going to remain captain of India atleast till 2020.... D*O*g*s like you continue to bark for next 11 years.... First learn to to create new messages rather than using COPY PASTE....

Both fools and intelligent people look cool as they hardly express their emotions.
Then how do you separate intelligent people from fools?---Check their contributions (for example in cricket their contributions as batsman, bowler, or fielder/WK).
Since Dobhi has not contributed either as batsman or as wicketkeeper (T20 word cup was won by contributions from other ,players). he is a fool with lots of arrogance.

Sanjay Manjrekar rightly pointed out that Ojha deserves no credit for first 2 wickets that he took, they were poor balls on which the batsmen played even more poor shots and gave catches in the process. It was excellent Indian fielding rarther than Ojha's bowling which got those batsmen out.

Vow..... Worst commetns from Worst Cricketer and here a Worst Supporter supporting and highlighting in this forum...
Ojha already proved and is going to prove again and again displaying his talent...

I think what Sanjay said WAS that the batsmen committed mistakes on top of the bowlers mistake.
Re: Sanjay Manjrekar
by shashwat on Jun 07, 2009 06:52 PM
In my opinion Sanjay Manjrekar's observations are quite accurate and correct. In the highlights when i saw those dismissals again, i found his observations to be true. I hv nothing against Ojha but a new comer like him can not be compared to a class spinner like Harbhajan.
Re: Re: Sanjay Manjrekar

Shaswat, you sound more positive now.... If this comment would have came from Kumble, it is worth debating.... Sanjay Manj. commenting on bowling is a joke of the decade,..... He is doing that to get unnecesary attraction and moreover he is being paid for that... Ojha is one of the prime reason in yesterdays win
In last Match If Dhoni would have let Raina, Yuvraj and then Yusuf to bat before himself then, am sure India would have crossed 200. Also, Gambhir should be rested in crucial matches and let Sehwag & Rohit open the innnings

Hello All, here comes the Great Astrologer.... C'mon Dude... Ojha seems to be a top class spinner and has already shown it with his performance... Harbhajan has been struggling since series with NZ....
I am sure Ojha will be Indian's top spinner for many years to come...
Re: Re: Harbhajan is the best spinner of India

Are u kidding, Harbhajan performed quite well against NZ , on one occassion he even got 6 wickets in an inning in a Test match. Mr Saviour, think before u speak.

Mr. Shashwat, my comment above includes that performance as basis point as well... It is a mere expectation with the kind of exposure he got playing in international matches...

cheap potshots take you closer to Zero than Hero...talk is cheap...dhoni has the results to show while u r but a footnote in an article...
Re: Dobhi may look cool because..

LG, your comments appear totally irrelevant and they are not based on facts and figures... However strong individual players you have, they need to have a strong captain who leads the team from front.... One of the key factor towards team's performance is correlated to the respect towards their Captain.... If you have a captain at top whom players do not like, they will not perform to their fully potential...
Dhoni is a born leader and he is most valuable person India has seen in recent years... and will not see for the coming years as well....
It seems like people from England and S.A. are having lots of money..... As per announcements from IPL and ICC, all tickets are sold out.. Stadiums are not filled up fully for all the matches... Either this might be a publicity stunt or people over there do not have value for money or they might be trying selling tickets in black market LOL :)
