Amazing news
by sunil jagdhane on Jun 06, 2009 09:39 AM  | Hide replies

It is really amazing news that Host England lose there opening match of the World T20 tournament from Netherlands by four wickets. England’s fielding was so bad they missed several run-out chances. In T20 world cup which team plays consistently that team will never loose, but it is T20 world cup no body will say that which team will win or which will be loose.

surprisingly 3 run out chances in the last over and all have been missed.
I think england put up a good total but their fielding was not good.they missed 6-7 run out chances in 20 overs and also they gave easy singles and double through out the inning very easily. thats the reason they could not create pressure on netherland batsman.

T20
by ramkumar on Jun 06, 2009 09:37 AM

twenty twenty is all about entertaing the crowd. But no could see the classic act of any batsman as they dont get enough time to think of how to play a bowler.Hence wining or losing the game is all a big toss.

Good for India
by Prashanth HL on Jun 06, 2009 09:35 AM

Since the seeding for second round is pre-decided, and Pakistan is a higer seed than England, the Dutch, if they qulify, will be in the same gruop as India in the super8s. So, one less headache for India to deal with :D
Now India just has to win one of their matches against most likely opponents Australia or South Africa. But yep, they must win against Bangla tonight

Yes eng does'nt deserve the victory.... N'lands were outstanding.. they hav nothing to loose so they played without pressure.. on the other hand eng hav no killer instinct which cost them match...

Remember Killer Instinct is must in this format...

They played over cricket and injury is heavy for viru, yuvraj and zak.
Iam very sure that india will lose to Bangladesh and will not enter semis.
My semi teams are

South Africa or Newzealand will emerge triumphant

by Poonam Rana on Jun 06, 2009 09:29 AM

Congrats Netherland. u have shown us so brave & courageous batting and that's why u saved many times( fortune favours the brave).I wish u reach next round.Kal ke match se saaf ho gaya ki bad fielding is very dangerous for cricket esp for T20 game.

England Played school cricket

England played school level cricket. Their Fielding, Catching is utterly poor. Chris broad could not through the ball even from two feet before the stumps. Without common sense he threw the ball which has gone for overthrows and england lost the match

england should win the next match against pak with a huge difference...holland should try their level best to loose, if they, by the least possible margin to see them in super 8

INDIAN T20 TEAM - BANGALADESH WAITING FOR U!!!!
by babran on Jun 06, 2009 09:14 AM  | Hide replies

If Indian team has to score 200 runs today,if they are batting first against them. They have some hard hitting batsmen in their ranks well proved in Ban-Aus warmup match.Don't take them lightly.
