Wrong precedent
by chirag desai on Jun 05, 2009 01:28 PM  | Hide replies

It's surpirsing that ICC allowed CA to replace symonds. It isn't an injury. If CA wish to send symo back, they can but why someone else can replace him. It gives freedom to others, if say indian think tank found X player to be sent back & to be replaced by Y. They will raise this issue get it replaced. I feels ICC belives whatever aussie do is right. I totally disagree.

Wasan and Desai:

You can keep arguing about the issue ... anyway its an imaginary one for us, coz BCCI ain't ever going to sack anyone for indiscipline off the field..... so its a moot point whether ICC would have allowed the replacement to India.... :)

If you feel Indian think tank is capable of being that stern, or strategic enough to send back X and demand Y, you must be joking...

Any resemblance with Shane Warne?
by Deepak Thomas on Jun 05, 2009 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

In 2003 World Cup, there was a similar incident. Any one remember that?

Shane Warne was sent home after being caught for using drugs. Then Australia went on to win the title.

Hope history wont repeat!! Let anybody win.. but not Australia!1

see what i feel strongly that if this racist attacks are occurring on our students at australia then we should stop our cricket relation with that country . if we can do it with pak why not australia , or why cant we give the same treatment to their fellows in INDIA

Heydrabad:

You give the same treatment to OUR fellows in India anyway.... :)
In Mumbai, in Hyderabad, in Delhi in Bihar, in Bangalore, in Mangalore, in Orissa, wherever you go, you find some "treatment" being given to some Indians by other Indians.... its good that you want to also extend that treatment to Aussies in India.... gr8...

But for that you will first need to bring some Aussies into India, nay?.... :)

Also they are not racist attacks its just that these indian students come home at like at late night or 2-3 in the morning, they are soft targets.

Aussies on the whole are not racist. Its time for the indian students to toughen up and get a real job or go back to india.

U r partly correct with ur anticipation. But i think this time SA have very goog chance of winning. They generally play well in england. Also they have very less fear factor agnst Aussie team which is the biggest advantage.

Similarity
by Finix on Jun 05, 2009 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

There is a gr8 similarity between Taliban and Symonds. And betweeen Australia and Pakistan. The Pakis supported, infact foolishly supported Talibanis long back and now talibanis r biting Pakis.Same for Symmonds,he was supported by CA for all his non-sense after bhajji incident, but when Symmonds cool left him and vanished like Air France(just recent crashed plane)CA got fed up with him and ultimately punished the so called GOOD PLAYER.

Finix:

But there is NO great similarity between this incident and when some Indian cricket players were partying the night before a match, and lost the match the next day... Don't remember Yuvi (who was leading the partying pack) being subjected to any such disciplinary action....
So thanx for pointing out to us that CA does actually impose their code of conduct and are quite serious about it....

But we are feeding same aussies through IPL. Symonds is given much more in lieu of 7-8 days cricket, than he earns in a year in his country.

How conveniently you have converted him in to a hero. A man who abuses people and beats ups team mates! He is a coward. Would he have dared to slap symmonds? Then he would have lost his bowling arm for good.

online jobs and other rubbish ads
by sanath on Jun 05, 2009 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

Friends, the ads u see in these forums that are put up by some unscrupulous guys is nothing but cheating.

The numbers u see at the end of the url they quote is their reference number. The moment u click it, they will ask to register, and when u do, the guy gets a referral added to his list, in this manner, the moment he reaches 'X' number of referrals, he gets paid. So, don't get carried away by such advertisements.

wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain letters to me in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and continuing it in 2009 also J

Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS.

* Forwarded hundreds of mails but still waiting for FREE DESKTOP, LAPTOP, CAMERA, CELLPHONE etc….

* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer...
* I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill with calls to Uganda, Pakistan, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a Can for fear that I will get sick from the rat faeces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me, then take my kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times.. (Poor girl! she's been 7 since 1993...)

* Still open to help somebody from Nigeria who wants to use my account to trans
