The best combination for 20-20 world cup is, 1. G.Gambhir, 2. Rohit Sharma, 3. Suresh Raina, 4. Yuvraj Singh, 5. Yusuf Pathan, 6. MS Dhoni, 7. P.Kumar, 8. Harbhajan Singh or Ravindra Jadeja. 9. Ishant Sharma, 10. P.Ojha. 11. R.P.Singh or Zaheer Khan (If fit). If Zaheer Khan is fit and playing, Ravindra Jadeja can be played instead of Harbhajan Singh. If R.P.Singh is playing, then definitely Harbhajan Singh should be picked up. This is the best combination now. Also, useless Irfan Pathan should be sent back home. India has lost 85% of its matches in the past 3 years whenever Irfan Pathan has played and that too (75%) due to his poor bowling.
Irfan will not be selected even for Zimbabwe team, but he is in the Indian team due to some influence & definitely not on merit.
This is really wrong decision that Rohit may replace Sehwag as opener. In case if Sehwag is unfit, it is better to have Rohit and Gauti open the innings.
