Modi. Money. Corruption... The BCCI is a regretabble organization using cricketers as labourers.. How can you schedule 60 IPL matches and expect players to play T20 world cup.. Modi the murderer... Period.. He will die soon.. A
rather than running a rebel league, the ICL guys could have introduced their own team in IPL, not only one but 2 or 3 teams, this could have been a organised attack on BCCI.

All these meeting held between BCCI and ICL was that only. BCCI asked scrap this ICL and take one IPL franchisee which ICL didnt agree.

Very funny, but if the players playing ICL are banned, which team will ICL form. besides IPL offered them a franchise - I guess Subhash Chandra should have swallowed his ego and taken a franchise
Kapil dev the actual hero of indian cricket. He has taken an big process to clean indian cricket from corrupt BCCI. Because BCCI has money they are trying to demolish Icl formed by Kapil Dev. Kapil started this mainly to get talened players get their recognisation. Bcci simply soil the real talent and are into big corruption. True cricket Lovers have appreciate the Kapil's Move.

yeah but BCCI is a crooked and egoistic body.....had ICL got enough recognition BCCI would have been exposed for ignorance of talent
Was found murdered in Australia some days back........i mean, was this part of the series of attacks against Indians?? Or there is some revenge angle to this cos Harbhajan was seen as enemy no.1 in australia??
The police in Melbourne have dismissed at as a case of suicide...Harbhajan does not believe that his nephew could commit suicide..
Re: Is it true that Harbhajan Singh's nephew.........

Bhaji is a very shrewed and cunning guy; Now he is asking for an investigation of his nephew's murder after 3 years! He does his politricks and develop mafia in Indian Cricket.
There can not have a most unfortunate information than the above to Cricket lovers of India. Now, with shivering of relation of the above players, coaches and mentors with Indian Cricket League created by an avid Cricket lover, Mr. Subhas Chandra, ICL demise is certain. And with this any hope for cricket management's managerial competitiveness in India is perished. Every right thinking person knows when there is no competition there is no quality growth. This we all have experienced after the liberalisation of Indian economy in 1990s. Initially, there was a lot fear, and so criticism. That fear subsided within a few years and it was Indian companies which have been the major beneficiary. And now India has become a major power to reckon with with other major developed nations. After the India's ignominious loss in the World Cup in 2007, it was largely believed that BCCI, like other sporting bodies in India, is more involved in politics and five star corporate meeting than in promotion of sports. So many cricket lovers were very critical of this and advocated for another such body which can create a competitive atmosphere in which cricket can be greatly benefited. ICL taken birth out of this. Since then it is experienced the qualitative development in BCCI and it became innovative and started winning international tournaments. For ICL demise, blame should go to intolerance attitude of BCCI and all others government authorities including Sports Ministry, etc. none cooperation.

Its money power, my friend. BCCI is too rich for ICL to defy them for long. Also, the stupendous success of IPL I and II made sure that ICL would wither away. The terror threat added to the problems and there is no way ICL could have gone on. The writing is on the wall and all the ICL players took the chance to jump ship. I guess Kapil and More will also exit gracefully soon, so that they do not hurt Subash Chandra in the bargain. ICL was a goner last year itself.....

Subhas Chandra is no cricket lover . he just wanted to teach BCCI a lesson as he didnt get the broadcasting rights. There is nothing wrong in the action taken by BCCI. There can be only one board controlling cricket
Re: Re: Monopoly of BCCI will spoil Cricket

bushwacker doesnt make any sense.....the reason for ICL failing is the BCCI took it on its ego for no reason....and mighty BCCI is the financial engine of cricket for whole world so they simply suppresed ICL...
Imagine ICL spent 100crores on this program. BCCI made some 8000Crores from IPL...so no comparison my friend...
i think there is no point in getting emotional....if BCCI is demon then Zee TV's subash chandra is not cow....we should understand that these are big business powerhouses whose sole purpose is to make money out of people's emotions....unfortunately chandra's plans couldn't reap benefits courtesy BCCI's dadagiri...but at the end of day it doesn't matter to them nor to players....everyone is in it to make money...so just relax and chill..
ITs high time the BCCI understands and treats Kapil with all the respect thats due to a good, clean sportsman...who has done this country a lot of service and made us a proud world champions in 1983.
Whatever has happened in past...there has to be respect to each other...finally its for the benefit of the sport and for the good of the people who love it...
BCCI should welcome all ICL players who are comming back and forget all differences. It is high time that BCCI should have talks with kapil dev and Co and bring them back. After all the game of cricket should not suffer.KAPIL BHAJI should be given the highest possible respect in BCCI. venugopal.Tirur, kerala

It is Bhaji,Kapil thought that Indian Cricket is like Tirur Bhaji,a curry made with Potato and onions.

So not your Tirur Bhaji,a curry made with Potato and onions.
How many of us knwo that the concept of 20-20 in India was first started by ICL /Subhash Chandra. he took lots of pain and spent his OWN money to float ICL. he visualised and designed it.. Then came the dirty cheat called Modi with his BCCI team... By sheer money power that they have courtesy the BCCI and the political clot of sharad pawar, they sunk ICL and copied the whole concept of ICL into IPL... Friends, this is the game of deceit.. it is a cheating cocnept of making money.. There r no freinds..only cheats...instead of talkign with ICL and Subhash Chandra and bringing him together crediting him with the effor the had put in into the game, they kicked him out with the big money they ahd courtesy the Indian cricket lovers.... This is INDIA....

Who is Subhash Chandra and why he is bothered about T20 Cricket. In India, BCCI promotes cricket and it is official board. Subhash started this thinking he will make money like BCCI making in cricket. He has no business to enter cricket. it is not a business. what is wrong if BCCI starts promoting T20. if people are interested to watch ICL, they can do so. you see response for ICL and IPL. Subhash is not great man with interest in promoting game, but to make quick bucks.
