in giving, of all the batsmen in the world, the example of Jacob Oram and Albie Morkel, as having their shots to counter yorkers in death overs.
These two guys not just betrayed the trust reposed in them by their CSK captain MSD, but have irritated CSK fans limitlessly with utter lackadaisical performance as middle / late middle order batsmen who can strike freely and score runs. Oram made just one countable knock of 40 odd and was a disaster as a fielder, while Albie Morkel did precious little with the bat while coming reasonably good with the ball on 2-3 occasions. In fact CSK had a forgettable run in the whole IPL-2009, thanks to these two guys alongside Freddie with an unjustified fancy price of USD 1.55 million.
have 2 IPL's in a year with 10 teams, have 2 champions league in a year. have 20-20 world cup every year, ban the boring tests and ODI's 20-20 cricket is fun and enjoyable and is 3 hours game which is what any sport game duration should be to keep interest alive in the game
pak may win the cup!! as reported by younis khan the capt, pak needs the wc trophy to come out of the mess in their country. so icc is going to help them out??? just like in 2007, ind was in mess with icl danger looming over bcci. so anything can happen, its icc championship!

pak is not india and PCB is not BCCI. World cricket will collapse if indian cricket collapses.

whereas wi n lanka both hv to fight with ausis in the same group. icc wants to promote bangla team to proceed to super 8 stage by default.
Well dont agree that batsmen have an edge. Pitch plays an important role. And with championship in England, bowler will have equal chance. Bowling at death is an art no doubt and not every bowler is successful. We have seen last over being hit for more than 20 and some last overs going for 2 or 3 runs as well.
After this IPL it seems that good bowler will always have chance to get wkts as batsman always try to hit. more a batsman will try to hit, more will b the chances to get out. so even a bowler may go for few run , he may also have chances to take wickets. in oneday matches economy of a bowler arround 4 is known to be good. in t20 if it is around 6-7, its nt bad at all. one more plus point for a bowler is that they will have 2 bowl only 4 overs n nt more than that. its equally balanced between batsman n bowler both.
