Why dont we just leave him alone with what he wants to do? We make a mess out of their personal lives...
having cars is not going to show any difference with public. only performing at the highest level in Indian cricket make him more and more popular with. cricket lovers will always like to see him as the king of modern cricket, amen
We are facing such a problem of infrastructural facilities (too many vehicles on the road and not good roads is one and important of them) and on top of everything there is huge threat of pollution due to vehicles. Here in Europe (even though people can afford BMW 7 series cars) people have started/are encouraged to either use public transport or cycles to fight with the global warming and climate change issues, one of ideals of Indian youth is setting an horrible example. It would have been a joke of year if Lukas Podolski (famous German football player) had done something like this. I think we deserved to be ruled by somebody again for next 50 years.

British looted our country and they used all the cars and now they started talking about global warming etc.... global warming is due to U.K, U.S and other developed countries. Let our countrymen enjoy for some more time before we start to talk about global warming here.

Dear Bharat Bhooshn I fully agree with. All these rich people are flaunting their money and they are not worried about their future generations or about claimate change. Recently Mumbai sheriff Ms. Indu Sahani visited Netherland on delegation.During the meeting with Mayor of city gifited her a special cycle called PACHO and informed her its importance and use. They have cycle stand in the heart of city it was used by high profile people. Why not our rich people think on that line. God save our country.

Bharat comment about Europe is not true. In fact the only people who do not drive cars in Germany are either who can not afford it (old people) or students or outsiders who do not wish to take the trouble of passing the license test. The first thing a German does on getting a good job is to buy a car. Besides most of my collegue live around 50-100 km from the office and drive to office by car. The fact is that once we have money, we want to have the possible luxuries and no one cares about the climate. Sad, but it is true.

Europe means, I think you are staying in southern Italy or eastern Germany (Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin, Postdam, Jena, Dessau etc). Go to any of the Scandinavian countries and have a look there. Any you fool (as your name suggest) Germany is the third largest economy in the world and highest ratio of car/person after US and you are telling that they cant afford it, what a joke...! Get your basics/fundamentals correct first.
