Definitely. One of the nicest cricketers around these days. The game needs more people like him. Wishing this fine cricketer and human being all the very best!
It was a beautiful event with Rahul Dravid and children, though it did result in chaos in the end. As the company behind the product, we knew Rahul Dravid was immensely popular, but even we underestimated the extent of his popularity!
We were definitely caught unawares and apologise to the many kids and parents who could not get their books signed by Rahul. Rahul was also deeply disappointed that he could not spend more time with the kids.
I think using icons like Dravid, whom the children of today clearly look up to, to encourage reading is a great idea. Sadly children aren't reading enough these days; maybe the likes of Dravid, Vidya Balan, etc. can convince them to take it up.
Always a role model as a cricketer. Now a role model in many more ways. Karadi Tales could not have selected a more appropriate sportsman for this "reading" initiative!

Yeah... definitely the media. There are so many issues to cover in the country. But these media are crazy about Aishwarya Rai n Abishek in Tirupati... Sania Mirza engagement n all these non-sense stuff. They say people like to see these... for TRP rating. There's a better suggestion.. if they could cover the f1srt night... I am sure they TRP will sky rocket. Will they do it. I am waiting eagerly.
