THIS IS RIDICULOUS . I THINK COUNTRY COMES FIRST EVEN BEFORE MONEY .SO THEY SHOULD REPRESENT THEIR COUNTRY FIRST AS THEY ROSE TO FAME BECAUSE OF THEIR COUNTRY

Dear arindam, Let me remind you with an example, Team india officially does not represent India but represent BCCI a private body, and i am sure that NCB is a private body and offically doesnt represent NZ. This a blind gamble, the cricket boards play with the sentiments of people. so if some one opts for ipl in place of their repective board, they are not doing any harm to the country. the day when any board declares that its not a private body, but represent country, then one has to be patriot by not opting to play IPL.

Nation is very first i think because IPL has no future and if u will not perform well in one IPL then u will be kicked off for the rest, but situation is differ in national team.

it's the same in national team also if u don't perform u r kicked out & then u have to start from scratch. At least in IPL they can have a secured future.
