Test Matches are real cricket
by irn bru on Jul 23, 2009 02:42 PM  | Hide replies

I am not against T20. i enjoy them very much
What i think that T20 are not threat to Test matches, infact T20 are threat to ODI's
I find ODI's pretty boring after watchin T20's.

Test matches is Long form of cricket whereas T20 and ODI are shorter version of game.
Test matches are safe, but i cant say about ODI's

Ya absolutely right. we have to kepp 20-20 and test cricket one day cricket can be played as test matches like 80 overs 20 overs of each innings. this will be intersting to watch also.otherwise one day cricket will not survive.

t20 is anybodys game.
by ANAND on Jul 23, 2009 01:45 PM  | Hide replies

chennai superkings won last yrs ipl.
deccan chargers last yrs lowest ranked team is now champions.
it does not take real talent to win a t20 game.
but test cricket is all about real talent and strength.
t20 is not a game its a product which is being marketed to earn big profits.
test cricket will survive till there are kids who want to be a good cricketer.

Rajasthan Royals won last years IPL not Chennai Superkings. It does not take talent to write a post on rediff.

Thanks

by Saurabh Sharma on Jul 23, 2009 01:22 PM  | Hide replies

ICC has to take some serious & neccesuary step to save the test cricket because today's generation doesn't have the time to sit on the T.V for 7-8 ours & watch ech & every ball.It could be happend in the coming 10-15 years that children would not know about the test matche

whether you watch or not but everyone is interested in scores and obviously you can never have 300 inning bt sehwag in 20-20 or the classic knocks like 236 by gavaskar, 271 by laxman.

whoever says tests wil die is a dimwit. in fact 20-20 wil not go for long which is a fad.

do u think golf wil b shortened for a few holes than the 4 days.

classics will always prevail the est of time
