It was not batting but bowling from the English bowlers that decided Lords test. They will have full strength bowling again for the third one. So they should not demoralise Pertsons absence, but give their best, if the manage to get Aussie out once in the region of 250 -300 they will go up again.
There is no doubt, Australia under the dynamic leadership of Ricky Ponting will come back very strongly to wreck vengence against the England and retain the Ashes. It was their bad luck not to win the first Test and England outplayed them in the second test, thanks to Flintoff. But all the days are not Sundays.
