You should be in Indian foreign Services ! ... that is the best place for you ... we need some good islands now ... it will also generate employment and promote literacy.
Trinidad has a huge population which migrated from UP/Bihar long time back. If it separates we will have more UP/Bihar players playing for that nation. UP Ranji team should also visit their and Trinidad team should come and play in Kanpur against the UP team. Both teams will benefit this way.
its time the windies played as a seperated countries. when there is no country called west indies, then why should any team be formed combining many smaller countries together. suppose cricket is included in olympics will the IOC allow west indies in cricket? its better they competed just as in other sports as countries. west indies is just a colonial name and is not a country.

Well, if you consider Indonesia, its comprised of thousands of Islands, big and small. Indonesia comeptes in sports like soccer, badminton, etc. If their islands start competing on their own, it would be terrible.

Kumar, That comparison is incorrect. The West Indies is a group of independent democratic nations playing under one banner. But the different islands in Indonesia are not democratic nations.

WI is a group of independent democratic nations? No kidding! I did not know that. If they break up on their own, it would be terrible.

I totally agree W. Indies has produced great players like Clive Llyod,Gary Sobers, Sir Vivian Richards, Alvin Kallicharan, Rohan Kanhai, Courtney Walsh, Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall, to name a few. I sincerely wish they play as a Nation and get back to their glorious days.

Yes surely this will be a disaster since already the main teams are gettin more stronger and the other are getting more weaker.

Dear Fundo. If you take it sportively, "weaker" and "stronger" - both are comparative degrees. There is no need to pre-fix "more" to them.

lol!!...right!!!!...it should be "in a sporting manner" or "sportingly"....

Sportively is right though...fundo should be sportive enough to take the views of others on an as-is bass rather than correcting the mistakes...

We give too much importance to grammar and spoil our vocabulary. In most Indian languages two superlatives are allowed. Why can't it be just Indian. If English can accept "I go yesterday to a bar" from a Chinease person as they don't have "tense" in their language, Indian ways of saying things too should be accepted.

West Indies cricket problem --> English lessons --> South Indian English vs North Indian English --> Indian regional cricketers --> Some curses ---> Religion --> Prime Minister --> Kasab....... Yeah come on, continue the lines... Thats how most of the discussions on this board go.
