Its Payback time Punter......

Did u see the expression in Ponting's face when Hughes was ruled out caught by Strauss even though the catch appeared grounded. Remember it was Ponting who stood for Michael Clark when he claimed a grounded catch to dismiss Ganguly in the Sydney test. Justice done.......

Anyway, history says "India lost that series", Can we change ? I remember Ganguly was in good nick during that series, he would NOT given out we would have won the series(or atleast drew the series). I don't something to happen to Aussies and get satisfied with that. Where is the justification for that? Did ICC do something? Are they going to do for this? They are sleeping and dont bother about cricket...They want money....

;-).... and of course Ponting shouted in the post match presentation about what disaster the umpires were...

Cricket Australia also promptly blackmailed the ICC to remove Koertzen "or else".... :)

yeah... justice done, as you rightly pointed out.... :)

Right. And then england schemed to frame an aussie player as a racist. They even went further and claimed a few more bounced catches with a straight face. Seems like the entire world is against the innocent aussies. :>)

How come we don't get Freddy Flintoffs?
by lutiya doobi on Jul 20, 2009 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

How come we in India don't have good allrounders like Flintoff? After Kapil, there has been no good allrounder.

Tough to beat Aussies
by ganessin virappin on Jul 20, 2009 07:54 PM  | Hide replies

Even after losing their match winners Aussies are still a formidable side and difficult to beat. With the score of more than 500 runs, England were not comfortable in getting the victory, which would have been cake walk for any team. England had fighted hard to achieve this victory. The fighting spirit of Aussies is great. England had to be at its very best in the forthcoming matches to beat Aussies. At no point in the match England can relax even a bit. Kudos to both teams.

Flintoff critics.....Eat your words

Critics who suggested Flintoff retire....take a hike. Flintoff was the champion last Ashes in England and will most likely continue to remain so.

bring Flintoff to India
by Nayak on Jul 20, 2009 07:44 PM  | Hide replies

May be we should consider taking Andrew Flintoff in our team now. The half ankle Flintoff is definitely more productive than our overrated regular bowlers who hardly take 5 wickets in test matches.

T&J:

Why do you publish wrong lists?....
I just went to the ICC's official website, and their list is:

1. India
2. India
3. India
4. India..
...
99. India...

And they have also stipulated that this is the permanent list for the next 75 years...... ;-)

So please correct your records in line with the official ICC stance... :)
