Messages against Kambli here are from castiest Indians. There is no doubt that we are a casteist society and also lack the guts to accept it.
Further, what wrong did Kambli do? He did not volunteer anythig. A question was posed and he just HAD to answer. He answered the truth as proved by the format of the show.
And accepting that "Sachin could have done more to save Kambli from his self destructing behavior" is a harmless, very honest and genuine statement.
Why are people writing against Kambli as if they know all the details? Sachin's help does not mean place in the team but a friendly moral support or counseling. Who knows if Kambli got it or not, but Sachin and Kambli?

As regards castiest remarks, when we talk to cricket, we never look at whether a player is from which region and whether he belongs to a particular caste. What we are bothered at whether he gives his best and whether he contributes to the victory.

Yes, i agree that a harmless statement made by kambli was blown up as it invloved sachin so that tv channels could rake up their TRP rating. But the point is even if kambli talked about moral support or counselling, it is like saying, i would make no effort to change myself, but sachin should have adviced me to change and i wd have gladly done it! Isn't it funny? It is only kambli who should have introspected and taken steps to change and not anybody else.
Sachin sacred that his intention of playing till 2011 may be curtailed ? As of now he is playing very safe with BCCI,selectors,Ex-player & with own captain and members of the team but anything of him in the media may cut his intention of playing 2011 world cup ?
Now a days Sachin playing very calculated and periodical cricket as he is aware he is not pysically fit and his batting calibre is diminished drastically , so he play few innings with atleast 50 and stay till 2011.
SACHIN MAY LOOSE HIS IMAGE AND WILL BE CORNERED OF WHAT HE ACHIEVED TILL NOW AFTER PLAYING SO MANY YEARS AS LIKE A BOY FAILS IN SSLC BUT CONTINUE FOR MANY YEARS TO QUALIFY SSLC and IN CASE OF WORLD CUP DEFEAT AS LIKE T20.

The only two difference is the colour (black) and the hand (left). Vinod is in no was inferior. In one film Dhanush says "Sachin can perform only when given a chance". Without a fair chance no body can perform. Hats off to Vinod for his frankness.
record of sachin kambli partnership in any match for any wkt, was broken by another school kids some 2 years back (in hyd ?). what happened to those 2 kids. nothing heard of them thereafter. hvnt they been groomed by their respective state boards? anyone plz ...
I think the media should refrain from interpreting statements of others - after all Sachin is mature enough to see the programme, hear it for himself and decide what he wants to.
I don't think it is ethical for any person, leave alone the media, to interpret the statement of one friend to another, that too when the friendship has spanned 26 years ! I have seen Sachin and Kambli play since thier school days (me being from a nearby school), and their friendship has always been very thick and strong. There may be complaints between friends, but it is their prerogative to sort it out between themselves, and do not require either the media or Rajiv Shukla to sort it out for them. Media should restrict itself and become more responsible.

It is not anybody's personal property that he can take in a player. Kambli should reflect on his performances when he was dropped and how he could have been picked. It is purely his performance alone which can bring a player into the side and not because sachin or any other player is his friend!
Sage Narada plays mischief and cretaes misunderstanding but has purpose to sort out larger issues .But our media is content only in creating controversies on non issues wasting everybody's time .Useless rediff news

I agree with Nagaraju n Abhi,its not going well at all with public hence its a futile attempt to increase their TRP but the shows gonna fall flat very shortly cause u can't sustain a lie for long after all its the quality of the show that counts in the end.
