Frustration........
by Anurag Rathore on Jul 14, 2009 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

Ponting is frustrated.

If Eng want to win the series they should sledging on the field. This is the best way to frustrate Aussies. India have successfully applied this strategy on Australia.

AR:

If Eng want to win the series they should start playing cricket.....

If they continue to get bundled out twice and in return manage to grab only 6 Aussie wickets in 5 days, I don't think they are gonna reach anywhere despite your most expert advice....

Hmm and and to be a champion test team, England should learn never to be bundled out for scores like 196 in 50 overs in their home ground against the likes of bowling greats like Ajit Agarkar and Sachin Tendulkar. isn't it Agaist Pseudos? India never comes in the picture as they always loses 3 tailenders in the last over of a test match and they should never look at how India plays. isn't it AP?

And also learn from Austalians how they grabbed 20 wickets in 9 of the last 12 matches they played. isn't it AP?

Yuvi knows right way to sledging but Bhajji is immature in it. Bhajji should learn from Symonds, Gilly, Hayden that how to sledge.

I don't think sledging is bad to distract batsman concentration if a player don't use abusive language.

He was the main contributor & highest scorer in wcup 2003 which India reached final. In final he failed & India choked.
Sharjah-1998 India won as sachin scored two back to back centuries against Aus, last australia tri series-he scored in S/F & final which contributed India winning the series. Most of the overseas test win- he was the main contributor along with Dravid & laxman. Maximum no. of MOM world record in ODI. Maximum no. of match winning Inning along with records. What more u need from him. Yes on few occassion he failed also. But then he is human also. He is the most consistenet player in International cricket in last 2 decades.

Nitin,

He is holding a record of Maximum number of MOM which itself says his contribution to Team. Most of the cases the MOM has been given to winning team. So dont say that he is playing for his records. He has crossed those criticizm long time back. He is the most successful Team man and thats why he is still in the team and thats why you all are criticizing him still...

no its nt like tht bt the way u r backin ponting is a bit surprising. if u would b talkin abt ppl like gilchrist, peterson, gayle then it would b acceptable bt for ponting- even his supporter wll nt agree wid u. he is nt honest. honesty/dishonesty, game sprit vary frm person to person n nt depend on country. u may find dishonest cricketer in india n honest in australia also n viceversa. bt here fact is- ponting is nt honest. he is a very good batsman no doubt. bt i cnt say same for his honesty.

Just because of Aussies are bad, it is not justified to be bad. If you can play cricket without any problem and win a match that is the best thing. Don't compare yourself with bad to become good

Brits gave Ponting a fitting reply by delaying tactics.
This is particularly speciality of Aussies so Ponting got bugged !! that somebody stole his schemes.

Well Ponting should be humble in defeat otherwise Brits know well enough to hit where it hurts most.
