Ponting has scored more runs on live wickets suiting bounce and pace. Tendulkar on the other hand has played and scored more on dead subcontinent wickets.

what do u mean by dead wicket or live wicket, go and wash your face with cold water, either u dont know about cricket or u r from other planet. its poting who fails to perform in India, sachin always perform against australia, remember one more thing there was majority of cricket lover who avoid to watch cricket after he got out, remeber one more thing he was one man army against any attack say about 5to6 years back. When and where poting perform against quality team?? just scratch your head and than pass your judgment.

why not find more infor as well like ponting have scored against better attacks and sachin only scored against weak teams and also that sachin only scored if weather was good and also when he was not thirsty and also when he was not tired and so on...

ponting is a cheat like most aussies... they take pride in that home pitches bully bradman who was not half a batsman of the callibre of sachin or lara or richards and as for complete cricketer he was not even 25% of sachin or richards or even sobers... it is biased and racist white media who hail home pitches bully bradman as the greatest... and aussies are cry babies and cheats...

aussie god bradman was so scared to play on dead continent pitches that he never came to play in sub-continent and for that matter anywhere outside his home pitches of england and australia... bradman is a white racist created monster who was a home pitches bully only...

this shows how racist we indians are..we support sachin just because he is indian..and fail 2 acknoledge the fact that ponting is better than him..when we do so honestly ..it is called white ass licking...
now kubmle is indian..but according 2 me he is the BEST spinner in world..better than warne,murali or any1..

no doubt every one has its own opinion but shld restrain abusive language at least against players like sachin. u might think ponting is best, it doesn't mean every tom and harry start abusing sachin.

check punters average with sachin and then talk.. ricky ponting has a average of around 56..sachin 51..
sachin has played 256 test matches.. ponting 222
sachin playing since 1989
ponting since 1995..sachin has scored 42 hundreds in 20 years...punter 38 in 15 years.... 14 years after sachin had made his debut..how many test centuries he had?????..i.e in 2003??? it was around 30 or 31...
just wait and watch how ponting breaks sachin record..if not for most number of centuries...for most number of test runs

It is fect that ponting bat superbly but sachin is great because ponting can,t play 19teen year,
aussie will win 1st test against englishman and there is no doubt about that.english needs to improve in bowling against kangaroos otherwise they will keep on losing against them
