probably eng will made 350 odd runs. now australian batting is nt as strong as it ws 1 yr b4. probably they wll b unable 2 take big lead. pitch might help spiner bcoz eng took 2 spiners. australia is lacking in dis department. when aussis will play in fourth inning, they might face more trouble. wait and watch.
I enjoyed so many ups and downs. At a stage England lost 3 quick wickets then KP and Collingwood partnership then Prior and Flintoff partnership then some quick wickets fall with new ball. It was very entertaining first day.
Match is evenly balanced now. Anything can happen.
"WOW" is not the word for the ball that got "The Best Batsman Outside of Australia" out. The word is unbelievable... What was KP thinking?? Just because a bunch of over egoistic players voted him the "Best Batsman" he felt invincible or what? If England loses the first test then I would say that the blame for the defeat should be on the shoulders of the "Best Batsman" for playing that shot at that juncture of the Game. The English Cricket board should drop him for a test or two like what the Indian Cricket Board did to Kapil Dev for playing that rash shot against England.

Dear Nanda, Naming KP the best batsman outside Australia is another tactic of Australia to make him come onto crease with bloated shoulders...dont read too much in it.. Whatever it may be, KP is one of the best batsman ever to grace cricket...that we need to agree...
Brave try but zero result. Pietersen tried so many different shots and he succedeed in past. I whole heartedly admire his batting. England's success of Ashesh deeply depends on KP.
Almost every batsman of England got a start and no one was able to convert it. If Eng loses from now on, they can only blame themselves for this. I would call it unprofessionalism on Eng’s batsmen’s part.
Let’s just hope Aussies don’t pile up a mountain of runs now. If Eng has to control this series, they will have to keep punter’s men under the check right from the beginning.
I personally want them to taste defeat in ashes this year too. This all prevailing dominance of Aussies over the world cricket now should be topped now.

Aussie are champions of Ashes, they will thrash the English rulers comfortably of which we were slaves
