lame excuse
by deewaker pandey on Jul 08, 2009 11:35 AM

how many young batsman pak had in this match?only 1-2. so indirectly younis is blaming these 1-2 batsman. the fact is- all the senior batsman including him could not go through n thts y they lost. he shd blame himself instead of giving excuse. anyway v r happy bcoz pak lost.

Where is J.Miandad now?
by Anurag Rathore on Jul 08, 2009 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

Some days back Miandad was claiming that Indian youngsters don't have strength.

Now see India have beaten WI without their full strength while Pak has lost to Srilanka which were not playing with Murali and Malinga.

See Miandad "Younis blames pressure on youngsters for defeat"! So what we should understand. Pak youngsters don't have strength!

2020 matches doesnt show the true potential of a team.. test match has exposed them.. And we have shown the strength of our team in WI even without senior players.. So its time for them to SHUT UP...

He is talking about Aamer.

Quote:
"Aamer is a young guy, but please don't compare him to Wasim Akram," Younis said.

"This is the problem in our country where whenever someone bowls well he is compared to Akram and then it becomes hard for me and for the player.

"Give him two to three years and after that we will talk about him," he added.

Pakistan lost bcoz of bad batting and not bad bowling. Aamer is a bolwer, now you dont expect him to be Wasim Akram and hit 230 odd runs in a match and win it for PAKI's.

The case of sour grapes
by Anantha Rajamani on Jul 07, 2009 09:32 PM

Just 24 hrs. ago, heaps of praise were showered on the very same youth. As a matter of fact, it was nothing but over-confidence on the part of the top-five batsmen, who ended up contributing 28 runs altogether, than pressure on the youngsters.
