No Hall of Fame list in any form of Cricket (Test and ODI) would be complete without the name Sachin Tendulkar. I can understand if his name is not appearing only for one reason that he is still playing. But then it would be unfair to quote that reason. He by all means deserves the place. There are very few cricketers (most of them batsmen) who deserve a place in the list automatically, without any doubt, Don Bradman, Gary Sobers, Viv Richards, Steve Waugh, Brian Lara, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Ian Botham to name a few of them. And ofcourse as of now I wouldnt call ICC partial for not including Sachin. Rather I would call them immature.
Players retired even later than 1995 should be included. Some still playing legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Muralitharan and Sanath Jayasuria should also be included. Anil Kumble.... Warne....
Truly of all the commentators sunny is the Worst. Take Kapil Dev a gentle man and for the love Cricket, Country , Players he opines to the best interests of Game. This all knows Idiot called Mr Sunny seems like a bully aka Sunny Deol style for Cricket, wanting to flex his muscles. Terrible opinions he made his life, fame whatever he got out of Test so it is but natural that he will Suggest Test as pinnacle of Players. Who will consider the 5 days of waiting, slow, pace of cricket. For a cricketer it might be his supreme test of Depth, Skill. and for a Audience it is supreme test of patience. But onething sunny is bothered selfishly for all and sundry for his self Interest, Biased opinions. I hope he keeps Cricket up not himself.

Sorry mate, but Sunny is the best and has command over language. He knows when to pause, talk and describe and is the best man to describe the game! Kapil lacks the skills a commentator needs and deviates from his point and misses the link all the time.

Sunny is first Indian player to start career as comentator and is huge succes . Then many followed him. Barring Ravi Shastri nobody matches his knowledge of finer points of game.

May be u are Fan of SIVARAMAKRISNAN, ARUN LAL(NOBODY MOVE), SABA KARIM & SANDIP PATIL.
All the advises he gives to youngsters and Dhoni is to be directed to Sachin,but he never did.
Sunny famously kept telling the world that Players should retire when asked why and why not,well if thats the case Sunny then how come you urge Sachin to play 2011 wcup,that too when India had lost 2007 cup the first thing comes out of ur mind is that and not for how for India to ever win a WCUP,its been 26 years,yea we won T20 WCUP,but we know what this T20 is really worth it
Sunny says Dhoni has curbed his style to last longer,oh really?then what about Sachin who hasnt played a aggressive match winning Innings in ODIS for god knows how long?Sachin for crying out loud never scored a 100 when he didnt open,so what does that show?Selfish play or slow play Sunny?
Sunny says Youngsters should refrain from playing IPL?then what about those who are already rich and have played almost 500 ODIS like Sachin?Isnt their body that needs rest so that they can focus on matches played for India?Is it only the Youngsters who have hardly made any money to not play IPL and the oldie who u want to last till 2011 WCUP should skip IPL?

Criticising Greats is fashion but take one at a time so that you can get more milage Shiva Raman But you can start from Bradman.

i dont understand what u r aiming at . Boss, pl. go into the recent statistics of the matches India played and u can very well know who had anchored those wins. If u r to be taken into osideration then what happened to the team at T20 WC. Sould all the 11 retire. Pl. try to comment takinbg the person into consideration and not the other factors. Try to keep the forum healthy

What shiva says has a point. Boss, u guys don't like it when someone has an opinion on sunny or sachin, but don't hesitate to criticise ganguly at the slightest opportunity. But when sachin is criticised, the forum becomes unhealthy but when ganguly is criticised, the forum is having a healthy discussion, is it? Have u forgotten the inaugural 20-20 world cup when the team won without our superstars?
These guys are not only biaed but rasict as well. England a team which has not even won 1 world cup or a major event has 22 players in hall of fame.Disgustic and pathetic list.
