I wish...
by R Roy on Jan 30, 2009 11:01 AM

i wish no scandal should happen in IPL and make a nasty name for INDIAN sports industry. Else, Govt should form a committee to foresee the funds going thru proper channel without giving rumors to flithy stuffs.

Thanks, these are only new names. Last year player names like Ponting, Hayden, Ronchi, Hussey, etc are missing, because they are in IPL for 2 years.

DLF & Other Sponsors...
by R Roy on Jan 30, 2009 10:58 AM

Is all the sponsors are still ready to sponsor the IPL as the recession attacked every industry by now? If so, then why can"t they give salaries to thier employees instead of lay offs. ( P.S. DLF announced job cuts few days back)

Something to cheer for
by Sudhir ss on Jan 30, 2009 10:58 AM

It's good that there is something to cheer for in this tough times. IPL will make people forget economic woes, atleast for a month and a half and provide great entertainment to all sports lovers in India. All guys critisizing you don't have to pay anything extra from your pocket to watch IPL matches and also it's not a government tournament to critisize it for wasting public money. It's all private businesses money involved and they are doing whatever they want with their money.
