Pls dont drag state politics into cricket. when gundappa vishwanath was selector he had 8 kannadigas in the indian team itself. and oly 3 quaified to play in the indian team. Kaif has had enough chances to prove and he has proved enough times that hes can only play for state not for india. So pls refrain from comparing him with badri......... whos yet to get a chance to play and prove.
Karthik is a good batsman and can bid for a place in test team. I think Dravid and Karthik fighting for the same spot. Also, Pankaj Singh ,Balaji and Sreeshant did well in the bowling department.
You have Badrinath who has never scored being in the 40 lakhs bracket and you have Mohammed Kaif who scored 72 in Ranji Final, 75 and 87 in Duleep trophy matches. Yet Badrinath will be given preference by Mr. KRISH SHRIKUNT. This is the heights of Rubbish. Badrinath, Ashwin, Murali etc. Any batsman from his state scores a 50 he will be in the national team. He will make sure by 2010 that Tamil Nadu is the best team in India with all test playing cricketers. Badrinath, Murali, Dinesh KArthick, M Ganapathy, Balaji etc etc.

are yaar kyu gussa hote ho. be cool aur ha tamil nadu ya up mat bolo sirf india bolo kyunki netaoon ke bhi kaan hote hain....

we need u in the team, when Rahul Retired u must be in the team from karnataka. once there were 6 karnataka players and now we need atleast one. prove with bat also. come on Coorg(a comunity in Karnataka, Madikeri) Maharaj, u can do it!! we miss ur sixes which u hit from half creese. come back soon to the national team. It's nece to see Uttappa getting 5 wickets from this match. Good sign. We need allround performance. That too who can bowl medium pace bowling and batting. Uttappa has proven in batting. Now it is good to see his medium pace bowling.

i totally agree with this robin is defintely a player of rekon. this will sure improve his chances
