It is a real shame for the cricket that this guy is reaching this milestone. It was just the pure financial clout that BCCI had on the ICC and with the Asian group supporting the Srilankan Cricket Association, ICC had to amend the rule to accomodate Murali. How in the earth anyone can say that he doesnt have a problem, why did then ICC change the rule book to accomodate Murali.
It is a shame to count him amoung the greats such as Shane Warne, Glenn Mcgrath, Wasim, Kapil Dev, Richard Hardley, Walsh, Bedi, Waqar etc...
He is a chuker, if Murali has little honesty and sincerity left in him, he should call the day to avoid distroying the game and many young upcoming players carrier because of them getting out to his illegal bowling. This is a fact.
Shame on BCCI. The same BCCI didnt support our on player "Rajesh Chauhan" when he was reported for suspective action......Politics nothing else!!!!!!

you seem to have no problem when the aussies hurl abuses and involve in sledging. Is that in the right spirit of the game? Is that legitimate in the ICC rule books? Has any Aussie been punished for his involvement in sleging? These are the questions we need to answer. I see no problem in Muralis action which is perfect.

This is the problem with india and the sub-continental countries. People do not support their players. See how Mathew Hayden, Rickey Ponting and Andrew symonds were defended by thier people and media last year after the Sydney test. There is something we need to learn here.

there is nothing wrong in supporting those who deserve...Sanath Jayasuriya...is a great batsman...now mendis..although I hate him...but...i also admire him for his ability. But Murali is a cheat...it was just because of BCCI he was able to bowl in intl cricket..this sort of lobbying is not god...Sledging is acceptable..there is no cheating involved in it...look at the indian team now, we need to sledge them back....but we can ask one of our player to throw the ball....murali is a bigest cheater in the history of Cricket.

Hai !This is Tapesh P Tripathi and I wish a very nice morning to all of you. No one can be Murlidharan in this world Cricket. Its nice to see that Asian cricketers are on top. In battign Sachin is on top in both format as well as Murli is on top in bowling. Waseem Akram was also a great name is this era.

I disagree.Shane warne waa the grtst ever.No one evr questioned abt his action, whereas Murali always had a questionmark on his action.Further, Murali has played on square turners in Srilanka whereas Warne has played on bouncy wickets of Australia.

I dont think Murali is a Chucker, his bowling action is clean. His arm is twisted so it looks like he is chucking, he is the best bowler along with warny, I rank both the bowlers on top.
It will be very tough competition for Sri Lanka Because- 1) Gautham Gambhir 2) Verander Sehwagh 3) Sachin Tendulkar 4) Yuv raj singh 5) Mahinder singh dhoni 6) Suresh Raina
All are in good form this will be tough for two spinners Ajanta mendis & Murli to finish the competition !
