MINTING MONEY
by venkat shivaram on Jan 23, 2009 05:55 PM  | Hide replies

More and more tournaments are taking place.
There is definitely an overdose of cricket which means that the crickters are growing richer and richer day by day while the poor are getting more and more poor. What are the defence people getting , a meagre salary of 4000 or 5000 per month and these cricketers are making crores and crores of money. Just wait and watch one day we will be left with no one to protect our country.

Why join the defense forces ,if you wanted money?

Plus its not easy to be good cricketer, out of 1000000's a pool of 25-13 players get pro contracts.

Boycot IPL cricketers who represent country which spread terror

Boycot IPL cricketers who represent country which spread terror in all parts of India.
I mean Pak sponsered terror are inflicting thopusnd cuts and bleeding India in all parts like Mumbai,Delhi,Bangalore,Jaipur Ahemdabad ,Hyderabad,Varanasi....still we want these devils to play in India....
Lalit Modi (a Pucca marwari) can sell India for money, shameful...True hardworking farmers and Jawans are not getting thier share who are toiling hard whereas the cheat Businessmen are stashing their money in swissbank....

Is this what India got freedom for???worse than british ,our present rulers..

Indian freedom was achieved by those who laid
down their life and gave their blood, whereas true Heros are forgotten and Gandhi/nehru take too much credit .
Netaji who taught how to win freedom was thrown out of congress ,a cheat party is now taking Azahruddin the traitor and match fixer into their fold.....

God save India>>>>

If you have the b alls , you should boycott desi mullahs first. For example I refuse to give my busines to muslahs.I dont eat in their restaurants, I dont take their cabs or autos, I dont see movies with them as actors, directors, producers or musicians.
Whats the point of posting empty threats on forums. If you really want to something, try getting martial art training, and learn to use a knife, trust me, you can do a lot of things on your own.As they say apna haath Jaggan-nath!Good Luck brother,I wish you all the best.

R they going to form team like Ranji?..
by S BR on Jan 23, 2009 12:55 AM  | Hide replies

Why the shuffle happening?..., is it coz of Zak is from Mumbai & Robin from Bang?...

I had a feeling atleast IPL is not focussing on stateism rather focussing on good cricket..
But its happening again in india...

Well, Bangalore wants to make Uthappa as captain instead of Dravid for this edition. So the swap came.

RBC shud have swapped Mumbai captain Jaffer instead of Bowler like Zaheer

Mumbai is the worst in this. I'm surprised they didnt get all Mumbai players for their team in the first edition itself. It's due to their politics that other state teams like Bengal, Karnataka had to play their own politics to favor their players.

Man it is good that swalp deal happened. Becz in last edition Zaheer and Praveen Kumar were disspointment for RC. They back stabbed Dravid as they are close to Dhoni. Now swap deal will help RC and will not help Mumbai Indians as Dhoni does not like Sachin too.....

If Praveen get injured during May it will be good for RC. But this time he may bowl well as his place in Indian team also under threat :)

U r right. During his long carreer of 19 yrs Scahin hardly has won 1 match for India single handedly, like you can remember so many instances by Kapil Dev, Vengsarkar, Mohinder, Gavaskar, Vishwanath, Dravid, Ganguly even Laxman. He has continued to create records without really benefitting India much.He has played in 5 world cups with no result. Last world cup is black mark on his nose, which he can not forget.

Mumbai needs a good bowler (Luckyly Ashish Nehra is gone so double bonus :-)) and B'lore a batsmen. Should help both the teams and hope B'lore show better performance this time
