Bhajji at # 9 gives a bit more solidity to the tail batting. Mendis is a pure bowler and needs more experience. His time will definitely come.

It was a big fraud on the part of Lalit Modi to award Jaipur an IPL franchise ahead of Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad(Gujarat in general) is one of the most fast developing cities in the country. Moreover all the three Ranji teams from the state i.e Gujarat, Saurashtra and Baroda have been performing very well in the last few years. It is also to be noted that nearly all the catchment area players in the Rajasthan Royals team are from the state of Gujarat. Infact there was only one Rajasthan player-Pankaj Singh in their team
