It was a big fraud on the part of Lalit Modi to award Jaipur an IPL franchise ahead of Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad(Gujarat in general) is one of the most fast developing cities in the country. Moreover all the three Ranji teams from the state i.e Gujarat, Saurashtra and Baroda have been performing very well in the last few years. It is also to be noted that nearly all the catchment area players in the Rajasthan Royals team are from the state of Gujarat. Infact there was only one Rajasthan player-Pankaj Singh in their team

now nobody will cheer for kolkata riders since its a neutral venue. it'll become disadv. and kkr will lose . when they visit other cities den they again might not win.

remember the match where dada scored 91 against against deccan chargers in hyd... the locals supported dada more than any of the hyd team's players.....
