As per me Below team can be consider as All time best Asian Team In ODI and Test till Jan 2009 records.

1. Sachin Tendulkar
2. Sanat Jaysurya.
3. Saeed Anwar
4. Inzamum-ul Haa
5. Sourabh Ganguly (captain)
6. Arvind De-silva
7. MSDhoni (W/K)
8. Kapil Dev
9. Imran Khan(wise Captain)
10 Wasim Akram
11 Murali Dharan

[1] I have Left right combination in my team.
[2] All Player in above team can be consider as Match -winner.
[3] Ganguly is Captain coz he is better than other captain
Note:- You may have question dhoni is good but he has good player with him. Imran Was good but he also had good player under him compare to Ganguly's team. So my choice is ganguly.

[4] I do have Off-spiner Murali.
[5] I do have leg-spiner Jayasurya (Jaysurya was selected on basis of his bowling in srilanka team but he turned himself as good all-rounder)
[6] I do have two all time great all rounder
[7] I do have best left arm fast bowler.
[9]I do have good part time bowler having cricketing brain Tendulkar, Ganguly and Arvida.
[10] Dhoni is the best wicket-keeper batsman which can be compared ith Gilly of australia.
[11]My team is best as per the batting order.

wasim was talking about the improvement in the Indian cricket team and winning which now has become a common thing. Now majority of indian cricket lovers started believing that "yes we can beat any team" rather than "hope we can draw all the matches".

But, few of them who replied "bhavik, Amin" will never try speaking positive about india. They want to always cry and cry.

Boss wake up, with the kind of bowling line up and batting line up we are a formiddable force and we have been winning consistently now. So say all the best to india and post something which would sound positive. Dont talk like Aussies.

haha you are funny. India isnt no.1 yet so dont get ahead of yourself.

In tests we need to beat NZ, SA AND Aus away to claim no.1.

As for ODI's India are almost no.1 h/w an ODI world cup under our belts will give undisputed title.

You are right "yes we can beat any team"
however at the moment india is a "very good team" not a "great team". Over the next few years we will see if india does become no.1, lets hope so.

but we arnt no.w yet.

Ummmm...when did India beat australia and south africa Mr Akram?
It is too premature to say that India is the best side.
I might be wrong but this sounds very much like he is trying to butter up the indians.

Yes your right. Considering that there are tensions at the moment between ind and pak.

Although i do believe that india would have won the tests in Aus if it were not for umpiring blunders. Having said that those blunders were necessary for world cricket to use more technology.Anyways past is past.

At the moment Aus is still the best as RSA must beat them in South Africa. Then we can say SA are the new no.1.

As for india they must win the series in NZ, beat SA home and away. Beat Aus away to gain no.1.

Therefore current rankings are correct.

He said that India beat Australia both home and away - which India did beat Aus in the one-day series in Aus (and I would count the test match India won as well - even though it wasnt the series), and India beat Aus in the recent Test series in India.
He is wrong when he says India beat SA - because the last test series was a tie (India only won the third test match if that is what he was talking about).

i too agree with your opinion. First of all team india should prove its worth on away pirches like australia and southafrica where india has not won a single seris till date. Even now also india is only PAPER TIGER on foreign pitches , of course our bowelers have improved a lot on seaming away pitches, yet it is questionable that our batting to withstand against solid pacers like nitini, steyn ,tait, clark and the least of bret. these are the permanent weaknesses which are to be overcome first.
