Sachin has to satisfy himself this way like winning in Domestic and feel of history but sachin is not a part of any major CUP winning for INDIA.He is not a part for 1) WORLD CUP 1983 WON BY KAPIL DEV 2) BENSON&HEDGES CUP WON BY SUNIL GAVASKAR 3) 20-20 WORLD CUP WON BY DHONI
Sachin is not a part of Top 20 announced by ICC. 1) Is it because Sachin plays for Individual show up ? (or) 2) His winning Innings are less compared to players selected as Top 20 ?(or) 3) He never play for team by shuffling his batting order as per team requirement ?(or) 4) Because he hanging himself for claming record for no of more Test Maches and ODI played by an Individual ? Gavaskar is truely deserved a place and so also Kapil Dev ? An opinion please
Once again the youngsters of Mumbai ( like the rest of India) have proven that they can win without Sachin . His failure with the bat , his absence from the field ( refusal to field ?), refusial to attend field training ... all not withstanding people want to credit him this victory. Modern India should come out of Idol worship .

Dude Dont be a tendulkar basher. You will never understand the spirit of cricket in Mumbai. Yes,Mumbai had delivered without star players for last 74 years as they were always away doing national duty. And even those player had to struggle to find a place in Mumbai. Sachin is not just a batsman or bowler, He is a strategist. And his presense in the dressing room brings a lot of experience and energy to the side. Even if he scores 2 ducks in a test, he play a major role in the final result...

Boss first of all read the article clear before complaining about him.... "Tendulkar scored 122 in the semi-finals against Saurashtra despite suffering from fever, which continued till the final match"

u must be from the state that has thrown dawood's agent like azharuddin!!!!
Ranji champions, county champions and Pura cup winners should contest a tringular tournament and see who wins.....then we will know how well our first class structure stacks up against the competitive Australian system and the English teams.....
Mumbai's team certainly made history and it's great to see the team win the title (38th time). Mumbai has always been a force in Indian domestic cricket and has always produced great players right from the old days, Vijay Hazare/Manjrekar, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and the greatest of all Sachin Tendulkar. For quite some time our Indian team had majority of the players from Mumbai. For the past few years it felt like the tradition would end with Sachin. But now we have found another upcoming hero in Rohit Sharma who scored century in both innings. Hopefully he carries the heavy burden well like Sachin did. Coming to the victory, it would be really great to see Sachin playing in probably his last Ranji final. The tough and busy schedule ahead has every reason to keep him away from the domestic scene and he is not getting younger. Although his only significant achievement in the match was a catch in slips, he was anyways not expected to do wonders as he was down with fever and it was more like lending his name to the team to add pressure on opposition. But we did that in great style, just wished Jaffer had declared instead of carrying on. We did fold up UP's innings, but I still feel the declaration should have been made atleast when the lead was about 425 or so. On the 5th day, we had 2 good spinners to take care of the UP's batting line up, in Bahutule and Powar. UP could have thought of a draw even if that wouldn't have changed the result. Anyways a win is a win.
