One has lost the count of the matches where Sachin and Saurav great starts to innings and later Dravid came in, the momentum was lost and India lost as a result.
Dravid was at most times not worthy of a ODI place so his runs have not actually mattered for India in ODIs...India rarely won because of him!
In tests definitely he was great...but again his impact was always than the likes of Hayden, Ponting, Sehwag, Laxman or Sachin.
He mostly played second fiddle when one of greats of Indian batting played a great knock!
Regarding stats Dravid's test average is 52, very good but nothing great to go gaga over!
ODI average is less than 40 with a very poor strike rate.

dravid is very good for net practice.. he strikes directly to the fields, 80% of his like that.. good draw matches. Now he is not interested to play cricket after loosing cap..

I guess, u r talking about one dayers. On the contrary, one cant remember the number of Test matches where openers got out in first few overs, and dravid batted out to help steer team to safety or respectability.
For ur kind info.. in onedayers too he has a very respected record and please dont talk about sourav here. Sachin is a great player, dravid is great too.. but with all due respects, dada is a decent player who could be compared with Dilip vengsarkar.

He did not abuse Peter, He ran him out for backing up at the non strikers end, an incident for which Wessels hit Kapil on his behind with a bat for. Stick to films and Abhishek Aishwarya.
