While its all fine to call the Sri Lankans all names, we need to take into account that they have beaten our team every time in crucial matches - World Cup 1996 - remember Kolkata ( where we showed our big heart by not letting the match complete), World Cup 2003, Asia Cup - lost the count of the times.... it seems to be a case of the pot calling the kettle black. lets face it - most of our batsmen's best scores are against the minnows...

And Ajantha needs to stop playing Zim, bangladesh and kenya kind of teams.. Srilanka is a joke. But, they offer lots of funny situation to watch on the cricket field.
Remember the Healy incident when warne was bowling short of length, Arjuna ranatunga was blocking.. Warne wondered loudly, how do i make him come down the pitch to hit the ball.. Prompt came reply from Healy.. Throw a Mars bar in the center of the pitch instead of cricket ball.. he will jump out to grab it. :)

If you remove the wickets of ban,uae and zim which are par below standard when compared to the wickets taken by ajit agarkar bhai this is not at all a worth mentioning achievement. rEADERS HAVE TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE STANDARD OF THESE POINTS.

That acts both as advantage and disadvantage. Advantage since quality of batsmen are not that great. Disadvantage since for the same reason fast bowlers have the maximum chance of getting the wickets upfront. So spinners can easily come in to ball after 4/5 batsmen are already out. So the probability of getting a wicket there is distributed among the rest of the bowlers. Just like we can't expect the same batting average from the last frontline batsman in the batting order as the openers.

yaa u are right fren..y indian selectors ignored ajit i dun undrstnd.he is a wicket taker baller.i know he is a bit expensive but he can be included in T20 format bcoz of his wicket taking capability..bcoz in T20 almost every baller gives run.he even made a century against england in tests(109)and has highest score of 95 in odi while batting at no.3.he holds the record of hitting fastest half century in indian history in odi's..

Between 2003 to 2007 his bowling average in ODI is 25-26 with economy rate less than 5. His SR in bowling is 31-32 in this period. He was so consistent in this period. He is best fielder among all the bowlers of India ever had. He is best ODI bowler of India till now. Only Irfan and Zaheer are close to him in ODI.
