by Neville coelho on Jan 08, 2009 03:36 PM

I think Lee must take a break and let the other young Aussies go about the job.

Take a break and see Aussie cricket further in the dolldrums........

Not foe Fast Bowling
by Crick fan on Jan 08, 2009 03:42 AM

A genuine fast bowler is not ment to bowling as mant overs. He bowled 580 overs last years. That is the job of a stock bowler or a spinner. But lets accept fact Brett was not picking wickets and kept striving with out rewards. Brett needs to revitalise and work on swing and seam to prolong his carrier. Is criket heading towards situation where only seamers and spinners would survive and fast bowlers like Lee, Sten, Shoaib struggle in future.

nice excuse brett .

Reality is that Brett Lee is not having same effect as his trajectory is too flat becaus of his lack of height.

He won't get much bounce like McGrath and unless the pitch is bouncy he is going to struggle especially when he's also not swinging or reverse swinging the ball.

what a comment. Malcolm marshal was also short of height, but he did take good no of wickets because of his pace and length.Brett lee is a good bowler and just needs time to settle down again.

He was same height when he was bowling well and taking wickets, unless magically he shrunk last year. Height is definitely not the reason for his poor run of form lately.

After McGrath, Lee is leading from front and its quite difficult to to bowl 150 kmph every ball, i believe he will back with bang...he is champion bowler.
