SA, Ind, Aus........
by Anurag Rathore on Jan 06, 2009 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

SA is lacking in aggression which is necessary to dominate world cricket. India is looking good but on paper it is not possible to become number 1 this year because they will play only 7 tests this year. For Aus Lee and Hayden are their weak points this time. They should try S.Tait and S.Marsh.

Target.....
by Anurag Rathore on Jan 06, 2009 10:27 AM  | Hide replies

400 in 100 or 110 overs will be good target. This time SA don't have G.Smith and Aus don't have weak bowler like B.Lee. Good chance for Aus to win this test.

They have given target of 376. It looks little risky because they have so many overs to chase it. Now this test can't be end in a draw. Either Aus or SA will win.
I think 80-20 in favor of Aus. Bollinger will bowl well.

a surprisingly sporting decision by Ricky Ponting. AUS have thrown the bait to SA.lets see is SA completes another great run-chase though of course here in Sydney's turning track it won't be easy

They are steady with 10 overs left in the day... If SA not lose any more wickets then solid chance of winning here.

they did in Perth , so can do sydney

u guys shud not be fooled by the brashness of aussie players-just go to oz and check that people there are the most friendly and modest in the whole world, sadly, they also hate their cricket team coz of their conduct-all other aussie sportspersons are absolute v v classy in their conduct in every way anytime and hence they are not despised like the cricketers, aussie cricketers are not any more brash in their conduct than a schumi or a man-u,i hope aussie public loves them like they love a ian thorpe or a pat rafter or a libby trickett or their rugby union team wallabies or rugby league team kangaroos
icc is anti-australian, aus have won a champions trophy once and a world cup 4 times, thats 5 big trophies, the whole of the subcontinent has not won that many big trophies, they have only won 2 or 3 times, yet they have hosted big events more than ten times compared to aus whereas oz have hosted a big event only once, that too, was co-hosted,except for india and oz,no country makes any money out of cricket, infact,no cricket country has a market for sport except, england, oz and india, india makes most of the revenue coz its population is 1.3 billion and india have nothing apart from cricket, in any case, indian cricket is all hype, india have historically lost twice the no of their matches than they have won, india is a third world and full of poverty, mafia, terrorism, corruption and garbage.i am not coming back ever to read anything on this discussion.i have not read any posts

Aus are batting comfortably
by Jatin Desai on Jan 06, 2009 08:40 AM  | Hide replies

So would South Africa tomorrow , unless Aus decelare and ask S Africa to play out 30 overs.

Wickets doesn't seems to do anything at the moment

Smith is out , but Aus have to take remaining 9 wickets...

It will be a draw

The wicket is slowly wearing; there is good chance of a result (most probably in AUS favour); depends how well their spinners support the pacemen; Clarke,Hauritz,Hussey should be given overs

Re: pls support ashad - azhar's son

Azharudin is the best batsman we had.
No religion.
Ashad a left hander. Somewhere read that another son aged 14 does have similar stance and style of Azharudin.
Great Sachin at his best used to make his partner just a runner. But if Azharudin is the partner, only Sachin can match him.

Delete all that Match Fixing saga.

thank u so much for ur support to azhar
it really hurts me when ppl talk bad about azhar
azhar was a uniq batsmen
as you tell, sachin and azhar make batting look easy
ppl should not put match-fixing issue in front and forget azhar's contribution

I agree with you. No one can match AZHAR's elegance. He has gifted talent - Can score runs quickly w/o big hitting shots--Undoudtely he is the best fieder India ever produced - at least in last 2 decades.

M.Prabhakar was also targeted who doesn't belong to minority.

As personally I feel Azhar was innocent in fixing case. He did same as M.Waugh and S.Warne did.
