It must be huge relief to Indian team. Cannot help the feel that was biased against us and hurt us more than opposition teams. He made his intents clear by imitating and teasing Dravid and Laxman and was recored on camera. He would raise his finger against Indians the first opportunity he had.
It was shame to see ICC reinduct him back after dropping him from the Umpiring council. Though he got back his job, ICC was sure for last one year, not to allow him Umpire for any match involving India.

Good Riddance- he should have gone long ago. He was definitely biased in his approach to Indian cricketers. Wonder what made him so! He never saw or heard an edge by other batsmen against Indian bowling and whenever a ball struck an Indian batsman's pad especially Sachin's he was convinced it would hit the middle of middle stump. Thanks for quitting though a bit too late.

Bucknor ruled Sachin out numerous times incorrectly, perhaps Sachin is compared to Lara often. What a sigh of relief.

4-5 years ago he was one of the best umpire in the world. He always remained in controversy because of his bad decisions against Sachin however he is big fan of Sachin.
