i think ravinder jadeja will bring back the glories what ajay jadeja did for his team. but ajaj jadeja was caught in match fixing and he was axed.. even shane warne, mark waugh, brian lara, nicky boye, harshall gibs were involved in match fixing ....but there board allowed them to play for the country,,, but our BCCI was full of power and sacked ajaj jadeja and ruined his cricketing career.... i hope ravinder jadeja should perform well so that ajaj jadeja can be remembered once again... ajay jadeja was a great fielder like what jonty rodes was for south africa. ajay jadeja took a great catch of allan border in 1992 world cup which the whole cricketing world cannot forger... he also smashed waqar younis for so many sixes in 1996 world cup quarter final.. and in even he took 3 wikcets in dubia to seal the victory against england... he use to get less overs, but still his average was aroung 36. he was always encouraging on the field always laughing and did had a cool attitude... so hope ravinder jadeja will step in shoes of ajay jadeja.................

Has it occurred to you that you are comparing the two just because they have the same last name? BTW, there are probably a million other Jadejas - should they all have the same skill and destiny?
If you want to wish success for Ravinder, why not wish him to be more like Yuvraj or Gambhir or Ganguly or ...? What naivity is it that you wish him to emulate a failed cricketer just because they share the last name???
I know that it is not going to be easy nor possible but I still wish, hope and pray that India wins the T20 2-0, ODIs 5-0 and Tests 3-0. Best of luck Team India.

Hope that happens though it would be a very interesting series to watch given the recent performance of the very young NZ team against Aus. They almost beat them in ODI series and lost the T20 by just one run! I watched a couple of games and they have some of those guys played some good looking shots and bowled some great jaffas. Agreed, Aus is in transition but still ...
Another good series in the offing and hope we do better than the last time we were there in 2003-04.
I'd be satisfied if India wins the series and draws T20.
I stay at Christchurch and have been to India's practice session for the last couple of days. The team is getting huge applaud from the local Indian fans. However, if the practice sessions indicate something, seaming wicket will be a tough challenge for the batsmen. Anyway.. we wish luck to the team and hopefully they will win.

New ball has to be negotiated smartly. Most of the outswingers should be left alone. If the wicket has good bounce even balls on stump line can be left alone untill the ball looses some of its gloss, may be 2/3 overs. It sis difficult to anyway judge anything in a T20 match, may be aim for a top edged six to third man??

Flop or success only time will tell. But this Indian team has to play differently to win in NZ. It has to be aware of the conditions and set its target slam bang stuf may not work. The steady bats like Gambhir and Dhoni will have to do a lot of work as the flamboyant guys may not succeed. If tendulkar gets into his groove it would be nice buts thats a million dollar question.

Puneet, you have not come out of the earlier nightmares of India in NZ. However, team is in pretty good shape. If this team cant win, then I doubt if India can ever win in NZ. Trust this team and lets see.

I won't call this tour a flop. But this may not turn out to be the way people are speculating.

india is gonna fall flat on their faces on the tour and get back to reality that we're mediocre and only champions at home (sometimes)
