This is blackmail.. the nagrik morcha is asking Modi to shell out money which was promised as charity.. there is no question of asking for charity as a right and accusing someone of fraud for not giving 2 crores less than previously expected... This is totaly nonsense...

But what Lalit Modi did is like displaying a dead body begging money for its funurel and then running away with the money.
If he had no intentions of donating money, he should have refrained from announcing it. One should not and cannot make public announcements while donating money and later not actually paying.

After giving a cheque if it is not deposited then it is a fraud case. Modi must have later conveyed that 6 is converted to 4 which he didnt. More than that once cheque is received the trust wd have planned similar activity and back to back payments are required. Thus it is constitutionally and ethically right to sue lalit
