Even if we play him till 2011 world cup, but after that replacement for him is mandatory. Even the greats like Gavaskar, Kapil, Azhar (batting skills), Kumble, Ganguly etc retired and Indian cricket legacy moved forward. B’coz its an on going process. No player is permanent.
In srilanka he was not middling the ball well and new bowlers like Thushara, Kulaksera tamed him ..
We should admit that his reflexes are gone...and very soon he will come fighting down against the biggest ruth of his life AGE….
And if we include him in ODI team he will create misbalance in team but opening he will push Ghambir on number 3. And in last few matches he has done nothing great his form is same as was Ganguly and Dravid before they were chucked out of ODI team. So why not make performance a criteria for team selection.

Bcoz the normal tendency what we have seen in past few years that Sachin (The so called GREAT of PAST not present) will play some matches by opening and he will flop. Then in between the series or at the end of the series he will decide to take rest or heal is injury (God knows or SACHIN knows injury is fake or real). IF he is not FIT then why he plays. Better get fit no one is pressurizing him to return when India is doing good without him.

And the team management will decide upon a new opening combination which will play for a few matches and as they will settle down, he will come back. An he will play in series he will decide to play (is he so great to decide in which series he will take the field. (He rakes himself greater then PRIDE to PLAY FOR THE NATION). And again he will cost some one who is doing well in the middle order, and in turn the opening combination will be changed. And why a youngster should sacrifice his place for the so called great who is out of touch and the team of commentators specially gavaskar will praise him for 2-3 shots and by the time he completes his sentences Tedulkar gets out. So for the sake of stability in the team, he should retire.

OR play him in TESTS like DRAVID and LAXMAN are tagged as test players.
And I know victory and defeats is part and parcel of game. And Dhoni is a mature captain (which SACHIN was never, his biggest regret) and he will take all in his stride. And Dhoni and his young team is the future and past like Sachin
SACHIN is now a page of history. Better close this chapter and move forward…………….

Don't compare Sachin with Dhoni.. Dhoni and today whole Indian Players grownup seeing sachin's game and always wanted to be player like sachin. He is ideal to each any every Indian Cricketer and we can never get any more Sachin.
Once Team India is known for only Sachin and now it's complete team and now any individual. Hence you can see Sachin = Total Team.

Hey I want to ask are you an Indian?. You know all time cricketer Sir Donald Bradman. He himself told that Sachin is greatest cricketer. you do not have to criticize him. have you scored in your exams all the time 100%. he had played 20 years its ok if he fails. let him decide when to leave. have you ever seen australia criticize any of their greatest players. why indians we always do this. you and me are cricket lovers and watchers. when we go to the field we also do this. you also act in your job. same thing..... please keep quiet he knows when to leave as he joined the indian team

I want to add one point. when heroine is old you still watch the movie. why cricket alone different. it is a sport you cannot play everyday 100. you have seen match recently won for the country. today in this match dhoni failed to complete the match. do you mean he is not a good player. why only sachin man... please as a human beign understand.

Sachin is a big miser. He will stay in the team till he's 40 if he's allowed. Money is all he's interested in. In fact he got ferrari free and requested govt to waive off all duties. He even gets free fuel from FIat. He never has thrown any parties, he never has donated, he never has given even a bat to a youngster, he just signs autographs for his fan clubs (no money donation), when he wants to buy a weekend bungalow, he just requested teh developer that he would endorse the developer with his pic on his brohcures and lo, his bungalow also was free. What a miser! He'll himself never go. He'll have to be thrown out.

hello saadhvi ji .. i am definetly an Indian. and for the sake of Indian cricket i am saying Tendulkar should retire gracefully like Ganguly otherwise on his current form he won't get place in Mumbai Ranji Team.......
so better tell him to get fit and play in domestic season and give confidence to mumbai players and domestic players...
if his current form continues he will be thrown out of IPL mumbai team and even ICL will reject him....
india will win t20's odis and test series ..nz lacks firepower in batting only mccullum and taylor are their hopes and oram struggling recently..todays nz is like 97-98 indian teams depends on 2-4 individuals to win matches..other hand india is playing like great aussies in the past with every match they are winnig ,winnig becoz of team effort..with every game they are getting new finishers..with fastmen like zaheer ishaant rp will be valuable in nz becoz he can swing the ball at 140-148k's ....return of bhajji is boost in this team..only thing india have to watch is first 2 t20 games becoz they are going in those games without any practice match so they have to be on top of their game for first coouple os T20's
sachin should seriously consider to hang his shoes, sachin u have brought glory to indian cricket and earned more than enough . please give chance to youngster yaar.

Sports is not only for youngster ok... it is for all who performing well in a Game(for INDIA)... At the same dont expect from sachin to perform all the match... be practical dont repeat, one fool has given a wrong statement saying that give chance to youngster....why senior is not a human.... think before you speak, try to practice this...

sachin is needed on those wickets which is bouncy bcoz it require experience. Younger players not perform well in australia diring ODI TOUR. So sachin precious than any other battsman in the world
NZ tour is a really challenge for Dhoni Captaincies. Bcoz Climate condition and PITCH is really different from Aussies?... Dhoni and Team can prove it again?????

more perfect sloggers than yuvraj sehwag?r u gone mad?there is no one better in world cricket than yuvraj when comes to hit the ball remember six sixes in over and viru and ya yusuf is latest addition..look at t20 results and tell me only ross taylor is a slogger and his strike rate is 130 so mate india well on top especially in t20 and odi's..not sure about test becoz i cant trust the wall any more and sachin and vvs.
idian team needs taste of uthappa to become invincible in odi and t20 format specially..he is an atacking batsman like others in present indian team except one and that is rohit sharma..i have no doubht rohit is talented but still not ready for international cricket he lacks consistency..he is weak side of this indian cricket..going through rough patch..he need some break..robin is in great form in recently conluded ranji trophy and duleep trophy..so bring uthappa for newxzealand series cheeka..and dont want any more surprises like balaji and badrinath..so i want uthappaaa he is dasher and perfect for 1 down or 6th down..

S, i too agree with you.... he is a Good striker of the ball as well he can threat the bowler when he is in the pitch... once he picks up consistency with our smashers Yuvi,Sehwag,Pathan,Dhoni,Gambhir then India will become No1, though we are going forward to taste No1 in the world.. If he also got form then sure we will be the No1....
It is very sad that the champion of Gugratis, the great Mr. Modi did not utter a single word to appreciate these two brave brothers who snatched wictory for India from the jaws of clear defeat. They are real gems and should be appreciated and encouraged by all patriot Indians, leaving behind communal or regional feelings.

These guys are private employee of the Team BCCI. This has nothing to do with nation or state. BCCI has stated this over and over. Cricket is ran as acommercial business all over the world. So why do you expect any CM to appreciate a cricketer. Let him do his job. If any CMs are doing it they are doing it their own cause and for publicity. Modi is doing his job better than any CM in India.
